Okay, who doesn't love this book? It has everything you could ask for in a Goosebumps book. It's scary but funny, Mr. Wood is a good villain, and Kris is a very likable protagonist.
Plus, I don't know about you, but dummies kinda freak me out. I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard that R.L. Stine is scared of dummies, so I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets freaked out by them.
I love this book! Good story and characters! Plus *SPOILER ALERT* the villain is Mr. Wood, not Slappy!
But it is not number one without the original scary cover! This cover blows!
Carly was so obsessed with scaring Chuck and Steve that she scared herself almost to death.
Definitely top 5 for me. Loved the concept.
It's the first and scariest book I've read. I've always had this weird thing where I've been fascinated and frightened by werewolves. On top of stuff like the Beast of Bray Road sightings, especially since I'm right in the area of werewolf sightings, this book cemented that for me.
Oh, this book is super cool! I was not able to stop myself from reading it. It was a combination of both thriller and horror, which is fantastic!
This is the first book I have read of the Goosebumps series, and I have become a big fan of this series and R.L. Stine. This was my first Goosebumps book, but I think it will remain my favorite forever! I also watch the Goosebumps series a lot on television. I still remember the last line of this book which Grady said: I'm ready to hunt! (Total badass!).

Yep, Hannah and her family are still dead at the end. I love this book!
My first and most favorite Goosebumps book. So good.
I loved all the Goosebumps books as a kid, but this one was probably my favorite.
This book is really scary about ghosts trying to kill their living neighbors. It is really awesome!
Great Goosebumps book. Goosebumps approved!
A great way to start off Goosebumps.
I thought this was another camp book with another monster who takes kids. But Camp Cold Lake is nothing like that. And the twist at the end...like, wow!
I remember reading it and liking it.
This book is terrific! I wish there were more books about lawn gnomes later on.
This is my all-time favorite book of the Goosebumps series! I haven't been reading Goosebumps lately and have gotten rid of most of them. This one I still keep. It's the perfect Goosebumps book.
Most underrated Goosebumps book. The plot is well-written, and the book is actually scary enough to make you feel nervous.
It is a pretty good book! The storyline, the characters, all of them are great! Especially Andy and Evan.
Very awesome book! I think the ending of the book was the best!
My first Goosebumps book was Monster Blood for Breakfast.
This one is pretty scary. Don't read it late at night.
Considering the fact that the torture methods mentioned in this book are very real (or at least were), this book is pretty dark and haunting!
Also, imagine being a little kid with your brother or sister in a country you've never been to, being lost without your parents, and not even being able to remember anything!
The middle scared the crap out of me. This book was amazing, probably my favorite Goosebumps book.
This one is actually pretty sad and depressing.
Probably one of the scariest books out of all Goosebumps books. Makes you question why it's a children's book in the first place. With a mutilation monster that pukes out organs!
An underrated masterpiece. The ultimate Halloween story happens to be the ultimate Goosebumps book too.
This is one of my faves. It should be higher up on the list!
This one and The Headless Ghost are my two favorites. The mysteries of these two are mind-blowing.
How terrifying would it be for a real-life supervillain to stalk and try to kill you? This is the perfect book for comic fans.
