The Top Ten
1 Night of the Living Dummy

Okay, who doesn't love this book? It has everything you could ask for in a Goosebumps book: it's scary but funny, Mr. Wood is a good villain, Kris is a very likable protagonist, etc, etc. Plus, I don't know about you but dummies kinda freak me and I don't know if this is true or not but I heard that R.L. Stine is scared of dummies, so, I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets freaked out by them.

I love this book! Good story and characters! Plus *SPOILER ALERT* The villain is Mr. Wood not Slappy! *

But it is not number one without the original scary cover! This cover blows!

Dolls coming to life is one of my worst fears, so this one was pretty freaky.

2 Haunted Mask
3 Say Cheese and Die

Definitely top 5 for me. Loved the concept.

4 Werewolf Of Fever Swamp

It's the first, and scariest book I've read. I've always had this weird thing where I've been fascinated and frightened by werewolves, and on top of stuff like the beast of bray road sightings, espically sense I'm right in the area of werewolf sightings, this book cemented that for me.

Oh this Book is Super Cool...I was not able to stop myself from reading it.It was a combination of both Thriller and Horror which is fantastic! This is the first Book I have read of the Goosebumps Series and I have become a Big Fan of This Series and R.L Stine. This was my first Goosebumps Book but I think it will remain my favourite forever! And I also watch The Goosebumps Series a lot on Television! And I still remember the last line of this Book which Grady said-I'm Ready To HUNT! (Total Badass)! -DarkKnight17

It is the book that made most sense to me out of all the goosebumps books I read...
It is very mysterious...

Yep, Hannah and her family are still dead at the end. I love this book!

My first and most favourite Goosebumps book. So good.

I love the ending

7 The Curse of Camp Cold Lake

I thought this was another camp book with another monster who takes kids. But Camp Cold Lake is nothing like that and the twist at the wow

I remember reading it and liking it.

This has the best cover

8 Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes

This book is terrific! I wish there were more books about lawn gnomes later on.

9 Monster Blood

It is pretty good book! The storyline, the characters, all of them are great! Espically Andy and Evan.

Very awesome book! I think the ending of the book was the best!

My first Goosebumps book was Monster Blood for breakfast.

10 The Haunted School

This is my all time favorite book of the goosebumps series! I haven't been reading goosebumps lately and have gotten rid of most of them. This one I still keep. It's the perfect goosebumps book.

Most underrated goosebumps book. The plot is well written and the book is actually scary enough to make you feel nervous

This is a good book.

The Contenders
11 The Headless Ghost

This one is pretty scary. Don't read it late at night.

12 A Night In Terror Tower

Considering the fact that the torture methods mentioned in this book are very much real (or at least, were) this book is pretty dark and haunting! Also, imagine being a little kid with your brother/sister in a country you've never been to, being lost without your parents and not even being able to remember anything!

The middle scared the crap out of me. This book was amazing, probably my favorite goosebumps book.

This one is actually pretty sad and depressing.

13 Don't Go to Sleep

I loved this it was epic

14 Attack of the Mutant

How terrifying would it be for a real life supervillain to stalk and try to kill you? This is the perfect book for comic fans

15 Stay Out of the Basement

This is one of my faves. It should be higher up on the list!

16 The Beast From the East

My 2 goosebumps book

Can't stop reading

17 Say Cheese and Die Screaming

It seems so scary

18 Piano Lessons Can Be Murder

Another where I prefer the episode over the book.

The T.V. version of this is really freaky.

They really can be!

19 The Horror at Camp Jellyjam

Creepy cover, great characters, scary monster, and a great book overall. In my top 5 favorite.

This book is the best in Goosebumps! hope there is another book about king jellyjam later on!

This book might be the best goosebumps book I ever read!

20 One Day at Horrorland

Definitely the best book in the original series!

This is def top 5. Loved all of it.

It is a great book but no my favorite but out of all the goosebumps books this one was the scariest. Some kid jabs a pole in his foot! Just the thought gives me the chills.

Scary and disturbing

22 Curse of the Mummy's Tomb
23 Let's Get Invisible
24 Monster Blood IV
