    Everyone thinks of the “ear biting” but there was something else he did constantly that hardly anyone called him out for. When he threw his hooks he would pull his fist in towards his elbow/chest about 2/3 - 3/4 a way into the punch. This was so if he missed his hook, there’s a chance his elbow would crack his opponent. I boxed for many years in my youth and this is actually a common “dirty tactic” so it was always kinda surprising to me very few called him out on it.
