Top 10 Disney Sequels You Probably Didn't Know ExistedThese are sequels that were actually made, but you’ve probably never heard of them. And for good reason.
The Top Ten
This is technically a prequel, but I barely hear anyone ever talking about it. I’ve watched this a couple of times and I honestly don’t think it’s that bad. You wanna know why? Because they actually made Ariel a likeable character in this! It’s literally the only Little Mermaid related thing where Ariel isn’t terrible! Can you really say that she’s not likeable in this? Sure she’s acting rebellious towards her father by trying to bring music back to the kingdom, but she’s doing it for the good of the underwater citizens. Not for her own selfish reasons. I also like that Ariel’s much hotter sisters are included more. I honestly wish the first movie had just been about one of them. This prequel had no reason to exist, however. Also, the villain was very weak. I still thought this was an okay prequel. I actually like Ariel in this. - MegaSoulhero
Well I kinda hate this sequel because it makes pocahontas like a cheater! disney how dare you! not trying to mean though but I hate the way that this princess has two love interests why?...belle is not a cheater, cinderella isn't too! but why disney? why?
Not everyone knows that Pocahontas got a sequel and not a lot of people care to know since Pocahontas is a pretty hated movie. The sad thing is this sequel is actually better than the first movie. But that doesn’t mean it’s good. I thought John Rolfe was a much more interesting character than John Smith. Pocahontas and Rolfe being in a relationship is more historically accurate. There are also a lot more interesting things happening. My problem with the first one was that there wasn’t a lot that kept me invested. Seeing Pocahontas explore England is fascinating to watch. The sequel would’ve been much better if John Smith wasn’t in it. I absolutely hate him. I still think this is better than the original. - MegaSoulhero
Haven’t seen it. I never even hear anyone say anything about this movie. All I know is that just like Belle’s Magical World, it’s a few episodes from a T.V. show put together to make one movie. I really hate when they do that. I loved the first Tarzan. I probably won’t like this one. - MegaSoulhero
Don't watch this. Watch Cinderella III instead. Or better yet, just the original.
So bad! This and the third are so bad, the directors were so lazy when makingthe Cinderella movies, the third is the first all over agian and this doesn't even have a plot! It's just mices writing a book, that all it is! It also has a horrible message! Do not let your children watch this atrocity they call a "movie"! - darthvadern
BOOO YOU STINK!
Dream Along With Mickey was overrated! I know not everyone’s gonna get that reference, but it needed to be said. Not everyone knows about this “masterpiece” of a sequel. And yes. When I said “masterpiece”, I was being sarcastic. It’s actually really bad. Just like Belle’s Magical World, it’s made up of multiple stories to make one movie! The stories aren’t even that interesting! I was bored through most of it. Cinderella isn’t one of Disney’s strongest films, but this sequel made me respect it a little more. On the bright side, we did get a pretty decent third movie. Which I personally thought was better than the first one. It makes me forget about how terrible this one is. - MegaSoulhero
Return to Never Land is a sequel to Peter Pan that somehow made it into theaters. I actually kind of like it, though. I like how instead of Wendy, we see her daughter experiencing Never Land. And yeah, she has a daughter. Which means she’s all grown up. Which probably wouldn’t have happened if she stayed in Never Land. But at least she got to do some “fun” adult stuff. I’m not saying this sequel is better than the original. I actually think it’s just as good. I didn’t love the original as much as everyone else did. Thing I really didn’t like about the sequel is the use of pop songs. They just don’t fit in a movie like this. But the rest of the film was pretty good. I’m not exactly sure why people hate it. - MegaSoulhero
Everyone who has seen this movie hates it and everyone who doesn’t say they hate it probably hasn’t seen it! This sequel was so bad I wanted to die! It has a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes which is way too nice! I was a huge fan of the first Mulan film! This was a complete insult! It’s almost as if the writers didn’t even watch the first movie! It completely misunderstands everything that made the original film so great! There is nothing good about this sequel! When it looked like Shang died, I didn’t even care! They try to make it look as emotional as possible, but this sequel made these characters so unlikeable that we don’t even care what happens to them! This is one of the worst animated films of all time! It’s also one of the worst sequels of all time! If you haven’t seen it, don’t! It’s atrocious! - MegaSoulhero
Stitch Has a Glitch? - Gangem
People always talk about how great of a movie Lilo and Stitch is. What barely anyone talks about is Stitch Has a Glitch. First things first, I’m aware that this is directed by the same guy who directed the Emoji Movie. But despite that, I actually kind of enjoy this movie. Weird, right? I enjoyed a movie that was directed by the guy who would later direct the worst animated movie ever. It still manages to capture the charm that the original had. Lilo still really cares about Stitch. The ending was legitimately sad. They did an excellent job with that. I also like the humor. It’s just as good as the humor in the original. There are flaws, though. Why doesn’t Jumba want to tell anyone that Stitch is glitching? The only reason I can think of for that is just so it would cause an argument between Lilo and Stitch. They could’ve at least tried to explain. Not too many people know of the existence of this sequel, but I didn’t think it’s worth a watch. - MegaSoulhero
This was really good in my opinion, way better than most direct-to-dvd movies. - darthvadern
Kiara and Kovu are so CUTE TOGETHER! 😍😍
This is actually a good movie. It’s not as good as the original, but it’s still pretty good. Kiara was a good protagonist, and Kovu(I’m pretty sure that’s his name)was also a good one as well. There’s good action and good songs(my personal favorite was that love song). 6/10. - Sunwhisker
Whatever you think about this movie, it still looks better than the live action remake. Everyone remembers the Lion King, but a lot of people may not know that it has a sequel. Well actually, it has two sequels. The other one is called The Lion King 1 1/2. It’s about Timon and Pumbaa and takes place during the events of the first movie. And I don’t consider Lion Guard a sequel. In fact, I don’t consider it canon. Simba’s Pride is a main reason why I don’t think it’s canon! Because Kion isn’t in it! We see Simba’s daughter Kiara, but not Kion! I like Kiara. She’s actually a really cool character. And I kind of like this movie. The songs are great and the action is great. While the first movie was an homage to Hamlet, this one is an homage to Romeo and Juliet since Kiara is forbidden from dating her true love who is the villain’s son. I really don’t like the villain in this movie. She reminds me too much of Scar. It’s kind of lazy. Still, this isn’t a bad ...more - MegaSoulhero
A forgettable sequel to a forgettable movie! Actually, this is a midquel. It takes place in between the events of the first movie. Everything about it is stupid. As I was watching this. I kind of got reminded of Home on the Range. And since that’s my least favorite Disney movie, that’s a very bad thing! It’s an absolute insult to the intelligence of children! What does any of this have to do with the first movie? They go to a cheap looking circus and meet some other animals and they do a bunch of dumb things! This does not feel like a sequel to the Fox and the Hound! The animation is better than the first movie, but that’s about it. It is so awful! Fox and the Hound isn’t a great movie, but it deserves better than this! - MegaSoulhero
This movie is horrible, don’t watch it!
News flash! I haven’t even seen this one. The idea of Hercules even getting a sequel really bothers me. Since I never hear anyone talking about this, it must’ve been pretty forgettable. I probably won’t be watching it anytime soon. - MegaSoulhero
Never seen it, never heard of it
Bambi 2 seems to be the most eyebrow raise inducing sequel that I bring up. people always seem to go "there...there was a bambi 2? "
Stitch is cool!
I've seen this so many times, as it was good. It's not great, but it's good.
