Top 10 NFL Teams that Most Need to Make Major Changes in the 2022 NFL Offseason
This team just has so many problems. They have to do something with Deshaun Watson. Clearly, he wants nothing to do with Houston, so he's basically just taking up space. He has to be traded. But he's very valuable, and you can most likely get a first-round pick for him.
Is Davis Mills going to be the starter for the 2022-23 season? They can either let him be the starter, draft another QB, or possibly trade for one. Their QB situation is in a tough spot, and there are plenty of other holes in this team that will take time to fix.
The 2021-22 season was pretty bad for the Raiders. Gruden resigned as the head coach after making terrible comments, and their two 2020 first-round draft picks have been cut.
I'm curious about Las Vegas' future. Who will be the next head coach? Very curious.
That Urban Meyer situation was a disaster. Urban was just such a bad coach and clearly wasn't ready for the big league. He left the team in rage.
It's going to be pretty hard to clean up his mess. We need a solid coach to lead Trevor Lawrence and much more. This will be a tough rebuild.
They need help. They're terrible.
Chicago has to do something about Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy. Both of them just make terrible moves. Can't they tell that Justin Fields plays better when Matt Nagy is out?
Chicago is currently a mess.
This is most likely Ben's last season as the QB for the Steelers. They have to find a replacement immediately because I don't think they would want to start Dwayne Haskins Jr. or Mason Rudolph. They can always get a QB in the draft.
And Mike Tomlin, I think it's time for him to separate. They also have to do something about JuJu. That guy's a loser.
There are still a lot of holes to be fixed and improved. For QB, are we keeping Goff, or are we bringing in a new guy? Because it looks like they're going to get Kayvon since they blew it with Aidan Hutchinson by beating the Cardinals.
They need someone at almost every position. The positions they're good at are RB and TE.
The other New York team also needs some help. The Kenny Golladay trade didn't go so well, Saquon is starting to fade away, and you guys still have Daniel Jones.
A lot of work has to be done here because they aren't going to be contenders for a while. Daniel Jones has to go. He just isn't good. He's not having good seasons. And Saquon Barkley is literally made of glass.
To sum it up, the offense is weak. The defense is alright, I guess. The secondary isn't so good, with only Bradberry standing out, so that needs improvement. It's going to be a while before this team is taken seriously in the league.
The tank is going well for the Jets, but their QB Zach Wilson is pretty bad. What to do with him? I say we give him another chance. Don't let him end up like Josh Rosen. He just needs more playmakers because I only see Elijah Moore as a good weapon.
They also need a tight end because I don't even think they have one. The defense needs a lot of work. Every single position needs some help. Hopefully, for the Jets, it will be fixed in the next few years.
Just like the Panthers, the Broncos are a QB away from being back in the promised land. This may be old news, but the Broncos can try A-Rod or maybe get a QB in the draft because they will most likely have a good position to get one, and it won't look like a reach.
The Broncos have a good defense, but the offense needs some work, especially at QB and WR. With these simple holes fixed, we may have another playoff contender next year. Even though they kind of are already, I mean a real contender.
The Panthers have a terrible QB situation. By the way, Panthers, Cam Newton isn't back. They're just a QB and an O-line away from the playoffs. If the tank proceeds to go well, I think they can snatch Evan Neal in the draft, and that will be a start to getting a better O-line.
For QB, I think they have to make a move in the offseason. There was news that Carolina would pursue the trade for Watson this offseason. If all goes well, we may have a playoff contender next year.
