Top 10 Hardest Pokemon Battles in Pokemon Games

Oh, he was the hardest all right. Oh, god. He was.It took me over fifty tries to beat that guy! I freakin' counted... until I reached fifty three, then I lost count... Also, his profile picture says a lot about him...
I lost to him multiple times. I had to keep on training my Pokemon until I could come back to N's Castle to finally finish him off.
Better have kept that legendary dragon...your gonna need it lots here
One of the reasons why Black and White is an awesome game.
I agree, I had many tries to beat her and I failed. Luckily, I noticed that I defeated her Garchomp with TM that I still had and I used it for Empoleon, and that was "Ice Beam". I guess water types DO manage to let you win and progress the game.
Better have a good team composition, At least all pokes level 65-70 and wish to god that she doesn't use all of her max potions on her damn garchomp. Have fun with the Milotic... One of the hardest Champions and trainer of all time with a decent moveset for an NPC.
Took me half an hour to beat her. She is the most difficult champion I have ever faced, but also the best.
Cynthia has to be the hardest and the best champion ever! , she is so tough
WHAT ON EARTH WERE THEY THINKING? It took me MONTHS to finally beat this thing, and I had to transfer in a Giratina with Pokemon Bank.
1. He is level 60. Your team will probably be level 38-50
2. All his moves do more than 100 damage
3. Even with graveler or incinaroar, he will find one shot move/ super effective move
4. Photon Gyser.
5. YOU can't CATCH HIM
I honestly only beat him because of my event shiny Dialga
The only 7 ways to probably defeat it.
1. FEAR pokemon, just google it basically means cheating in competetive
2. Zoroark starategy where it disguises as a fighting type
3. Focus sash something as it uses something
4. Focus sash then mirror coat
5. Focus sash then destiny bond
6. Be overlevelled
7. Have an Aegislash and see this poketuber named aDrive where it beat the crap outta necrozma as we laugh and cry seeing how easy he beat it.
Hell naw. Ultra Necrozma is already boosted and then gets an extra totem boost? If you don't have nay Steel types you're finished.
Greevil is without a doubt, the hardest battle in Pokemon history. His entire team are shadow Pokemon. Good luck cause you're going to need it!
This guy deserves to be number 1! I really like this battle but it is without a doubt, the hardest battle in all of Pokemon!
Speedster really got the list right...all shadow pokemon after you fought SL and 3 out of six are gen 1 OU pokemon and the rest are legendaries
He is so very jerk and jerk boss when he is the hard boss easily!

He's got a powerful team and it took me multiple times to beat him. And for those who say he's easy for a champion, he isn't even a champion! He's just a normal professor who thinks it's too easy just beating the elite four. I beat the rest of the Elite four first try but I had to redo like 3-6 times!
Kukui isn't really as hard as everybody claims that he is but he ain't no pushover that is for sure lolol.
Also: am I the only one who experiences this: he only uses full restore once or twice throughout the whole entire Pokemon battle. He then sends out his final Pokemon Magnezone and then spams the crap out of healing items.
His Snorlax is just plain MEAN. It took me hours to beat this champion, and about 100 000 worth of Hyper Potions since they got nerfed here. He deserves to be in the number 1 spot.
It was hard, but I did the mother of all pokemon challenges, beating the game without trading!
I was in the lower seventies but still managed. His sets were terrible. I would have curbstonped hi. Had it not been for the level difference to be honest. I only barely won though because of the level difference though in my opinion.
Very fun challenge
Build a team just for this, or spam healing items as hell. And oh yeah, save before you fight her.
My childhood nightmare!

It's like the shopkeepers from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. You steal from them, and they murder you. Justice prevails, I guess.
This thing -- is almost invincible to any of my Pokemon. Just screw Kecleon. Can't they just make so that if you have no money, and try to take an item from Kecleon shops, he gives to you for free? Then again, this thing is simply one word: UNFAIR!
Pokemon's version of the fight with Sans the Skeleton. Get Dunked On!
She was it took me 14 times to defeat her because of her hard flygon super hard mudsale
Her dang mudsale and it's stamina ability. Also, High Horsepower.
That gastrodon takes a million years to beat
This fight isn't even hard bro. I beat Whitney on my first try without any healing items, using only a Quagsire.
Rollout rollout rollout... me: yay I'm so close! milkdrink me:y though

God, her Mother Beast form is overpowered! I wasn't able to take down that Clefable until that thing used Metronome and it got the move Self-Destruct to use on itself! But it was kind of funny when that Self-Destruct missed my Alolan Raichu that I was battling with due to the bonds that I have had with it as a Trainer.
That Clefable though... I get mad just thinking about it.
I'm gonna use a Clefable that has the same moveset as Lusamine's against my brother just to piss him off. He'll hate me for it but it'll be worth it
Also, Cosmic Power is officially my least favorite move. And did I mention my luck is bad? So when it used Metronome, you can imagine how well I took it.
Lusamine is a terrible boss. Even with Prismarine/Decidueye she is a OP boss with way too many Fairy Types. Overall rating: Definitely nerf-time.
This is an awesome boss fight, perfect mix of hard and fun. The Clefable was pretty annoying but seriously, I wish I could refight her.
Aside from Mimikyu being hard to take down, I find it hilarious that people used their Z-move on the first turn to try and one shot it just to realize that Mimikyu has the disguise ability.
Sadly, I was dumb enough to use my Z move on the first turn, still beat it first try though. Seriously? How is this even hard?
Hardest E4 member to ever exist in my opinion. Period in my opinion.

You want to hear my hatred for this battle in one single word? "Kingdra".
She makes Whitney look like a piece of cake by comparison.
Harder than Whitney!
Herdier is NAD. Watchog is worse.
That Slaking. Oh my gosh that Slaking.
Slaking is super hard and yeah
I did find difficulty with him in ORAS to be honest. But in emerald he was insanely hard though lolol. Never played the original Ruby and sapphire though lolol.
Harder in the remakes because his Metagross can Mega Evolve.
Lance is only hard if you are new to Pokemon and are not sure what you are doing. Which is a lot of kids back in gen 2 where it was still new. With experience, his difficulty is lacking.
Nah. I brought ice beam and thunderbolt. Without it he would likt be very bard though lolol.

I swear to God, they made this fight as hard as it is as a subtle reference or something

EFF those emolgas in my opinion lolol.
