Cully was somewhat of a journeyman playing for many teams, but he was also a winner playing for 2 teams that won the Stanley Cup before the N H L came into the Sports World in 1917, the Toronto Blue Shirts and the Seattle Metropolitans. In the 1922-23 season he played for the now long gone Hamilton Tigers and had a great season when he scored 16 goals and 5 assists. He was the only great star on a team that won only 8 games. Then he left the N H L to play for other teams in other leagues, but he'll always be a great reliable player.
