I love the Pocket Edition. Sure, it doesn't have as much as the PC Edition, but why complain? It is fun, and you can play Minecraft wherever you go. Well, this version is for you.

One of the best editions of Minecraft, Pocket Edition is amazing because updates are fast, and you can play with Bedrock players.
We don't care much about the lag because of the price! On Apple devices, it costs $7.99, which is so cheap! PC editions cost $26.99, and Wii U editions cost $29.99. Not only that, but you have to buy the PC, Mac, phone, or console to be able to play (or buy the disk/cartridge for a local console, such as the Xbox 360 your friend has).
The space the game takes up is wild on PC, Mac, or console. Minecraft on the PC/Mac takes up around 4 GB for the software, and on the console, it takes up about a GB for the software. I play Minecraft a lot on the Pocket Edition, and it only took up 612.2 MB on my iPhone, around 400 MB.
So, I suggest the Pocket Edition!

The Xbox One Edition is FAR better than the 360. The worlds are 9 times larger and the game runs even faster.
This game is perfect. It has the best version for the legacy editions. The gamma is near perfect, and the rush of playing this game is more than Java can even dream of.
I have one side question: why is Pocket Edition the 2nd best one? It's one of the worst.
Yeah, my Wii U is my only console and it is good. I want to make it more popular and this is my only Minecraft edition. It is one of the best in my opinion, and I made a lot of memories playing it. It just feels nostalgic.

At least you have the option to play 1.15 and you can craft GOD apples.
Minecraft PS Vita Edition is a great version of the game since it is like the console edition of Minecraft on the go. I like this edition better than the Pocket Edition or Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Unlike the Nintendo Switch Edition, I have one and I love it.

It's the best portable version of console Minecraft. Honestly, I think you just have a dogmatic distaste for Nintendo Switch, which is dumb. It doesn't matter if you like the Nintendo Switch or not. The Minecraft version for the Switch is a lot better than Minecraft Pi.
It's kind of like Minecraft console edition because you can get the new updates faster.
Love it, always play it. (And how did it go below Minecraft 4K? Minecraft 4K is horrible!)
It's the only thing close to Minecraft, plus you can play it at school and make cool stuff like underwater TNT!
