For a list about 2017, I'm surprised Isco didn't rank higher. In a recent poll, he was voted by fans as Real Madrid's best player of the season. He fought to secure his place at Real after almost being sold last year, and it would have been a huge mistake.
With Bale out for much of the season, Zidane changed his 4-3-3 formation to include Isco, and it couldn't have been a better decision. A common criticism of Isco was his consistency, but he has proven time and time again this season that it will no longer be a problem. He has even received better fan ratings than Bale. Though Bale is great, I do believe he is ranked higher on this list than he should be.
