Top 10 Characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie

Dr. Ivo Robotnik

My personal opinion? Sonic 3 focused way too much on Robotnik and not enough on Shadow, who was one of the reasons for all the hype surrounding the movie. Jim Carrey still did an incredible job and I do like him. He's just a teensy bit overrated in my eyes.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow the Hedgehog has been my favorite Sonic character since I discovered the franchise. His darker past and actions are a strange contrast to the light-hearted nature of the movies.
Keanu Reeves nailed it as Shadow, and I find it hilarious how the animators managed to make him extremely scary and cool looking in certain scenes while also making him look adorable in others. Especially when he's with Maria.

I loved every scene we got of Shadow and Maria. I honestly didn't mind the fact that she didn't have an illness, and to me, it made her death all the more devastating because she was a healthy girl who would've lived much longer if her life hadn't been cut short.
Underrated gem of a character.
