Top 10 Best Star Wars Legends Characters
The Star Wars Legends universe is packed with fascinating characters. While these stories may no longer be part of the official canon, they still hold a special place in the hearts of those who followed them. From cunning tacticians to powerful Force users, the Legends timeline offers some of the richest and most complex personalities in the galaxy far, far away. This list highlights the characters who have stood out in these expansive stories, drawing admiration for their unique abilities, compelling narratives, and the roles they've played in shaping the fate of the galaxy. Some are heroes who inspire with their bravery and determination, while others are villains who intrigue us with their cunning and ambition. Many exist somewhere in between, making choices that reflect the complexities of the Star Wars universe.

Thrawn has three things going for him as a villain:
First, he's smart. Very smart. In The Clone Wars, Cad Bane was a popular character because he was a Die Hard villain. Thrawn takes that same principle and mixes it with a bit of Evil Sherlock Holmes for good measure. Thrawn is fighting for an evil cause, but he's such a clever bastard that he manages to entertain you while doing it. He gives the heroes a workout just trying to keep up with him.
Second, ironically, he's more human than most Imperial villains. Thrawn isn't apolitical - he believes in order above all else, which is why he fights for the Empire. However, he also isn't needlessly cruel and doesn't use fear as a motivational tactic. He's not a good guy, per se, but he's less of a bad guy than is normal for the Empire. That gives him some added character depth.
Third, and probably most importantly, he was the main villain in a trilogy of novels that were excellent all around. So when people think of Thrawn, it reminds them of how good his books were.

Revan was one of the most powerful beings ever presented in the Star Wars universe. He was one of, if not the only, being who fell to the dark, came back to the light, and then fully mastered both spectrums of the Force. He was also able to use both sides simultaneously without succumbing to the dark side.
Revan is kind of a badass.
He is amazing and super strong. He killed loads of Jedi and Sith.

Galen Marek, aka Starkiller, was the son of Jedi Knights Kento and Mallie Marek, born sometime after Order 66. It was mentioned that Vader had killed Marek's master some time previously. Mallie was killed while the family was in hiding.
In The Force Unleashed, Starkiller's missions as Vader's apprentice, including missions to assassinate surviving Jedi Masters, are chronicled. Eventually, they were caught by the Emperor, and after staging Starkiller's death, Vader sent him out to form the Rebel Alliance as a way of gathering all the Empire's enemies into one place.
At some point along the way, Starkiller had a change of heart and opted to chase after the captured leaders. On Kashyyyk, he fought a group of Trandoshan slavers. Kento was murdered by Vader, who then took Galen and raised him as his apprentice, Starkiller.

Jacen Solo, the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, was a Jedi Knight who later fell to the dark side of the Force and became Darth Caedus. His story is similar to that of his cousin, Ben Solo, in that both men were Jedi who were tempted by the dark side and ultimately turned to it. However, there are also some key differences between the two.
Jacen's fall to the dark side was a gradual process driven by his desire to bring peace to the galaxy. He believed that the Jedi were too weak to accomplish this and that the only way to bring peace was through the use of force. He became increasingly ruthless in his actions, leading to his eventual transformation into Darth Caedus.
In contrast, Ben Solo's fall to the dark side was driven by the manipulation of Supreme Leader Snoke, who preyed on Ben's insecurities and feelings of abandonment by his family. Ben's transformation into Kylo Ren was more sudden and was a direct result of Snoke's manipulation.

She's a strong female character who can kick ass.

I liked his bond with Mara, and he always had the weight of the galaxy on his shoulders. He's a great friend and a cunning warrior. He also has his father's and grandfather's recklessness. He only wanted to make his family proud.
He also has a genius-level IQ. He got kidnapped and had bounties on his head so many times as a child. Palpatine even tried to take over his body, but too bad. He died saving his brother Jacen.
Anakin Solo was the next chosen one and had the most potential.
The Newcomers

He's so hot and seductive! Anyway, he's a badass that won't let anyone get in his path.

I love Darth Talon and how she's so dedicated to serving her master! She'll kill anyone who gets in her way. The way she makes Cade Skywalker her slave is just pure evil. Extra points for being super sexy and hot!
She can defeat most of the females in Star Wars.

We need to see more of her! I just love her character!

He was an Imperial officer and a pilot.
