Top 10 Things Disney Should Do or Should've Never Done
The Top Ten
Oh stop being such a cry baby with cgi
Not saying that their CGI films are all terrible but I miss the classic animation. - Mcgillacuddy
What's next a Mexican princess that teaches illegal immigration is okay!?
The princess theme is starting to get very old to me. They just got through making an ice princess, now there's gonna be an Polynesian princess (Moana). What's next? - Mcgillacuddy
Mickey deserves better. :(
Even though he's Disney's trademark character, I think that he still doesn't get enough moments on the screen. A feature film (not straight-to-dvd) about maybe his younger days or an adventure story with him as the main character would probably make Mickey Mouse more admirable. - Mcgillacuddy
Disney used to be the king of the animation industry with amazing stories and awesome animation! Now they're making films that go either way as far as quality, both live action and animated. Don't even get me started on Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Planes. - Mcgillacuddy
They've built a few good roller coasters. Some of them may break records or not, but why not build 5th Disney World park in Florida? Maybe build a hyper coaster over 200 feet with a length of about a mile and make it themed after one of Disney's franchises from Marvel, Star Wars, Pirates, or their famous cartoon characters created from Walt Disney himself?
I love thrill rides and I know a lot of other people do, so I think it would be a great idea if Disney made a park with only or at least a majority of just thrill rides and roller coasters. And, considering their high skill in creating theme parks alone, it should end up coming out really awesome. - Mcgillacuddy
If they build one in Anaheim it’ll compete with Six Flags and Knotts Berry Farm.
Okay, it IS a good song as far as Disney is concerned, but it became highly overrated. In my opinion, even the movie itself was overrated. - Mcgillacuddy
They make stupid rules that marvel has the follow gosh I hate them for doing that - MetsGirl34
Mixed feelings about this one. Ultimate Spiderman first two seasons were awesome. (due to man of action) Also, guardians of the galaxy is an excellent show that still retains mature elements. However, Avengers Assemble is sooo bad, and Web Warriors was unbearable.
This will all depend on how we see newer Marvel content from Disney compared to older content that was non-Disney. Some people think Marvel should not be in the hands of Disney, some think it's alright. This is why I put this on the list, so I can get opinions from fellow TopTenners. - Mcgillacuddy
Ah but in my opinion I like marvel - VideoGamefan5
Same thing as #7 - Mcgillacuddy
Almost every show on is terrible or barely even half-decent. Crash & Bernstein, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Zeke and Luther, Rated A For Awesome... I mean, come the hell on guys. This is as bad as present Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. They should've just stuck with Jetix, but I don't really think that it would've made any difference. I guess they called it Disney "X-D" because they expected us to laugh at it. No, Disney. It's not funny. - Mcgillacuddy
I kinda agree with this one don't even get me started on terrible shows like pickle and peanut and walk the prank - VideoGamefan5
Disney did something right in bringing the best show ever made for childrens television, I'm in the Band.
I loved jetix
Everything is "members only" crap. Wait, why am I putting this in the list? They're not gonna shut it down because it's [somehow] making them MONEY! WOW! HIT ME IN THE HEAD AND CALL ME A IMBECILE BECAUSE I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!
Seriously, though. This game sucks. - Mcgillacuddy
I don't want them buying out Nintendo or any other video game company. Plus, Disney isn't a game developer in the first place.
I AGRE! I DEMAND THAT THEY BRING BCK HOUSE OF MOUSE AND HERCULES: THE ANIMATED SERIES!
I definitely agree on that.
But Disney never bought Nintendo. I guess Disney just buys which it buys. Disney bought Star Wars and Marvel because they ran out of ideas. Disney should stop wasting its money on companies. Disney might never be able to by Nintendo, which company has Pokemon as its only franchise that went uphill.
It's already being made, the film's title is Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2
And rate it NC-17 or R
There needs to be a horror movie based off this ride!
ITS AN EVIL WORLD AFTER ALL! THE SONG IS EVIL, I TELL YOU, EVIL!
I was forced on this ride at both Disney parks in CA and FL. I had nightmares of being stuck on this ride as a kid. I am now 26 and that dumb song is still stuck in my head! CURSE YOU IASW! >:(
Found the butthurt Kimba the White Lion fan who thinks their precious white lion is original when in reality BABAR is the true "Jungle Emperor". Lion King is a good movie, but I am sick of you Kimba fanbrats and TLK haters.
Because whenever they do, it's always the awful stereotypes and folk traditions, and not being faithful to the real facts on animals.
Because all fictional cartoons for kids have to be scientifically and politically correct to be good (the sarcasm is real here) - Mcgillacuddy
And Kimba Fanbrats like you are why Tezuka's stuff doesn't get released in the US very often.
Contrary to untrue popular belief, Kingdom Hearts is Disney, not Square-Enix.
Seriously underrated games
It would be nice if Disney bought back the rest of the Fox Kids library. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
That's because the Modifyers should be willing to SAVE Disney Channel. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
Even though Steve Wynn made Vegas family-friendly in the late 80s and early 90s Disney should not get revenge and buy every hotel on the strip and Disneyfy them all so they can't compete with Disneyland
If they buy Six Flags, all the good coasters will be downgraded and they'll probably build another Animal Kingdom Lodge on Six Flags Great Adventure's safari property. Also if they buy Cedar Fair then Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown will require SEPARATE admission tickets so they can get more money (b/c Disney is obviously already greedy in the 1st place, anyway...)
From my experience at Disneyland I felt like I really wasn't getting my money's worth...
I loved the original one as a toddler
I miss this Saturday morning programming block! :(
Hercules and the Real-Life Mythology Crossover-where the Disney gods meet the gods from real life Greek mythology and the evil Hera tries to kill the Disney version of Hercules and the Disney gods join forces to stop her
Hercules and the Big Hangover-Bacchus throws a huge party on Olympus without Zeus and Hera knowing and makes a big mess and has a hangover and Hermes finds out and Herc has to clean up the mess without Zeus and Hera knowing
Hercules and the New Baby-Herc and Meg are new parents
Hercules and the Big Wedding-Herc and Meg gets married and the gods throw a huge wedding ceremony for them
Disney's Gods: The Early Years-The gods and goddesses as babies and toddlers and their adventures before Hercules was born
The series should be about Hercules living on Olympus with the gods as a baby. The gods would have to feed him and change his diapers and give him baths
Since Disney is greedy the horse rides should be on free-play mode
Imagine meeting Meg and Herc at the Forum Shops and the gods at the casino at Caesars. That would be so awesome!
I’ve never heard of it or attended it, but it does sound fun. Oh yeah, it should be PERMANENT in Philadelphia (where I live) and Vegas, too!
First off, I don't hate the parks and I have nothing against them. I think they they're relying commercialism to make people go there. They should cut back on advertising them year round. It's just not necessary and it's getting kind of annoying. here's why:
First off, they constantly advertise in other states. It makes sense for them to constantly advertise in Southern California and central Florida since they're local attractions. But I'm from Philadelphia. Disney is NOT a local attraction. Even my local attractions, like Dorney Park, Six Flags Great Adventure, and the NJ shore don't advertise year-round.
Second of all, they expect us to visit their theme parks EVERY SINGLE TIME they advertise on T.V. or sponsor an event. We can't go all year round. We have family plans! Advertise in November and December? Sorry, we kids all have school. Also we prefer spending the holidays with family at home. Spring break? That's fine, but my family usually doesn't travel during ...more
