58 Zim (Invader Zim) Zim (Invader Zim) Zim is the titular protagonist and anti-hero of the American animated series Invader Zim, created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon.

Jhonen joked that one of the possible endings they considered for the show was Zim rebelling against the Tallest and becoming "legal defender of Earth" or something. It's also suggested that the PAKs are parasites influencing the Irkens biological brains. In the unaired episode, The Trial, it's shown that Zim is somehow aware that the information in his PAK is "wrong." I dunno how that works but it's gotta be something about biological brain vs PAK brain. A Matrix-like revolution plot, I'm thinking would be a cool possibility. Eric Truehart mentioned they might do more major world building in the future. If he's not joking as well, I look forward to it. Also, Zim being a "defective" could potentially translate to him being a rebel. It's been explored in fanfiction, of course. I can't help but like the idea of him doing a heel-face turn. Eh, wishful thinking. - eventer51314
