Top Ten Things About Warrior Cats You Probably Didn't Know

The Top Ten
Bloodclan is not a Clan

Yep. They named themselves Bloodclan when Scourge left his home as a kit. In Bluestar's Prophecy (a fact you may not know), when Bluefur goes with Tigerpaw and Thistleclaw to Tallpines, Thistleclaw urges Tigerpaw to fight a kit who was Scourge. Anyway, when Scourge left, he made a rogue group. When Tigerstar wants him to take over the forest with him, he instantly agrees. Why are most of these facts obvious?

Warriors live in clans and tribes
They're making a Warriors movie

Are they actually making a Warrior Cats movie? Some say yes and others say no. If it does come out, when? And how can I watch it?

I would love a Warriors movie and a Wings of Fire movie! That would be a lot better than just reading and imagining the scenes! Wouldn't it be cool to see a movie full of fighting and action?

I prefer that they stay as books. What about people with little siblings under 5? Have they thought about that? I prefer to make up the scene in my mind. I want to see it, and I want it to come out. I'm just not sure if it should come out, right?

- Moonstar of ThunderClan

Erin Hunter works harder on this series than any other
Sandstorm cheated on her final assessment

WAIT, SHE DID!?!? Just kidding, I knew that too. (Yes, I'm the same person who commented on Leopardstar's crush on Tigerstar and said I knew them all.) She brought back a different cat's prey. She was probably sick of waiting to become a warrior.

She didn't have a final assessment, and there's no proof of that.

I don't know if it's true, but everyone says it's true, so...

Windclan is the closest to Starclan

That's because WindClan cats live on the open moor, so the cats are "closer" to the stars because they aren't protected by trees. I honestly love these little traits about the Clans.

All the clans are closest to StarClan. They all regularly meet them. Just because they sleep under Silverpelt and are closest to the Moonstone/pool doesn't mean anything.

Skyclan was the first clan

Some people say that WindClan was first because it was named first, but SkyClan was the first to start working like a clan.

Squirrelflight has one white paw in reference to Scourge

Yes, Scourge is Firestar's half-brother because Jake is their father. So, Squirrelflight got her paw from Scourge. Firestar often shudders when he sees her paw.

Scourge is Firestar's half-brother, so yeah, that makes sense. My friend said something about that.

Yeah, since Firestar's father and Scourge's are the same. Petaldawn from ThunderClan

Cinderpelt loved Fireheart, but he didn't catch on

He's so stupid sometimes! Poor Cinderpelt. She deserves to have Fireheart (star) as her mate. I hate that Sandstorm and medicine cats can't have mates. Though the Hunters say they might change that rule in The Broken Code.

This is the saddest fact ever! So true though! I wonder if she loved him when she was a kit, when she was his apprentice, or after she became a medicine cat.

Yep, poor Cinderpelt. Firestar (heart) was her mentor, but sadly he didn't care really. After Spottedleaf died, he loved Sandstorm and her like any type of liar/overrated character would.

Cat leaders have 10 lives not 9

Look, everyone is saying they only have nine, but think about it (Just an example here): Fireheart got his lives from nine different cats. Lionheart, Redtail, Silverstream, Runningwind, Brindleface, Swiftpaw, Yellowfang, Spottedleaf, and Bluestar. He already had one life and received nine. Do the math, people! 9 + 1 = 10. Therefore, cat leaders have 10 lives.

They only have 9, because if you count the deaths until they join StarClan, it's only 9.

I don't really know. Maybe they add 1 to 9, but some die before they can get their 9 lives!

The Newcomers

? A Starless Clan will have the first RiverClan POV: Frostpaw
The Contenders
Tigerclaw was going to be called Hammerclaw

I guess cats don't know what a hammer is. The Erins changed it at the last second to make it Tigerclaw, which sounds much better. Where are these people getting these facts exactly? I'd like a source!

- Moonstar of ThunderClan

Yep, but at the last second, someone said, "How would a cat know what a hammer is?" So they all looked at each other and went, "Yikes!" So they changed it.

True. It was on the brink of being published when someone wondered out loud if cats would know what a hammer was.

There's a thousand cats

There are probably more. Maybe one thousand in ThunderClan alone, but if you take all the Clans, there are probably a few thousand because there are like eighty at a time in each Clan.

If I had to count all the cats in the world, I would die of hunger because it would take too long.

There's probably more than that, to be honest. If you count StarClan.

Leopardstar joined TigerClan because she was in love with him

I honestly have to agree. I think in all the gatherings, she lets him go first and never talks to Firestar or Tallstar.

Question: ShadowClan and RiverClan joined, right? What if two cats mated while in TigerClan? Do they continue when they become RiverClan and ShadowClan cats again?

It's sweet that she had a crush on him. But she was clearly shocked when Firestar told everyone about Tigerstar's past. She probably thought, "Oh well, that's not me, is it? I still love him!" She made it quite obvious that she loved him.

Bluestar and Whitestorm are related

Of course! If you have read Bluestar's Prophecy, then you'll know, but if not, this is why:

Snowfur is Bluestar's sister. Snowfur mates with Thistleclaw, and their only kit is Whitekit (Whitestorm). That makes Bluestar Whitestorm's aunt.

It's kinda cute that he cares for her at the end of her life.

True. Bluestar's sister was Snowfur, who is the mother of Whitestorm. That makes Bluestar Whitestorm's aunt.

Yes. Bluefur's sister, Snowfur, had Whitestorm. So Whitestorm is Bluestar's nephew.

Fireheart was named after Lionheart

No. He's named after Oakheart and Lionheart. Lionheart for wisdom and Oakheart for courage and bravery.

Yes and no. He was named after the wisdom of Lionheart and the bravery of Bluestar's mate, Oakheart.

Spottedleaf was trying to draw Fireheart(star) into StarClan so far that he couldn't return to ThunderClan in one of Firestar's dreams

I told you she was bad luck. I've said this in one thousand percent of my Spottedleaf comments, but no one ever listened, did they?

- Blacktuft of ThunderClan

Yeah, I can see Spottedleaf doing this. I sort of understand, too. She was a medicine cat, so she couldn't have a mate. Now that she is in StarClan, she can (I think), and she wants Rusty (I have absolutely no respect for Firestar, so I call him Rusty) to be her mate. That's why she always acts so cuddly toward him. I also remember her saying, "StarClan is calling you."

Half of the Warrior cats have colorations that are impossible

I KNOW! How Jayfeather looks is, like, impossible! How do a black cat and a brown cat have a gray kit? I understand Hollyleaf and Lionblaze, but Jayfeather is impossible! Also, how is Leafpool brown and white with hazel eyes? Her mom was pale ginger, and her dad was bright ginger! It makes NO SENSE!

Bluestar's kit, Mosskit, how did she look like that? Oakheart didn't have any white, and neither did Bluestar. IT DOES NOT WORK, ERINS!

- Robincall of ThunderClan

Yes, I know. I wonder how gray cats (Skystar & Storm) make a ginger kit (Thunderstar). That is why I imagine Storm as a dilute torbie cat. Two gray cats (Shellheart & Rainflower) make brown kits (Crookedstar & Oakheart). There are many more examples, but I am too lazy to list them.

Scourge hated the dog teeth in his collar but put up with it because it made him look fierce

Aw, that's truly something I would do. I thought it might be uncomfortable and hard to fight with a bunch of giant teeth in your necklace, but that just makes him sound like an adorable kitten again when I heard this.

This is true. In The Rise of Scourge, he thought the dog tooth would help him get his collar off, but it just got stuck there. Scourge actually said, "Stupid collar." So yeah, it's true.

Thunderclan is like America

Yeah, that makes sense. I think RiverClan would be Britain. Both are surrounded by water and fought with America over territory. Well, it wasn't exactly that. I think Canada would be WindClan. As for ShadowClan...Russia maybe or Germany? A place that seems really bad to America but isn't as bad as they think.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. SkyClan is Russia, and RiverClan is Japan... I don't know, that's just my association. Oh, and the Kin is like a dystopian version of the US if Joseph McCarthy somehow managed to become the dictator. Which would never happen.

Okay, I'm weird.

Darkstripe (Male!) was in love with Tigerstar

Why is this such a big deal? Ravenpaw and Barley have been confirmed as a canon ship, so what's wrong with Darkstripe loving Tigerstar? You said "Male!" like it was so bad. I respect LGBTQ+ people because why shouldn't I? Who they choose to date or marry doesn't affect my life at all! What's the matter with Darkstripe being gay? I don't understand.

I mean, it was obvious. There aren't enough openly gay characters in Warriors. At first, I thought Darkstripe had some creepy obsession and was a bit stalker-like, but Tigerstar shouldn't have rejected him!

Blackstar was a polydactyl cat

Only Bright Guardian Akira fans will understand this, but I really wish Blackstar's Toes wasn't rejected. I would have loved to read that novella! Now we have Blackfoot's Reckoning instead. Boring!

Link with info, please? I don't mean to be mean, but I really want to know how you got this.

Polydactyl cats have one extra toe from when they were born. Yes, this is cool. Sincerely, Fox the Rogue

The Three have SkyClan, ThunderClan, kittypet, and WindClan blood

Actually, they are related to every clan. Firestar is related to Thunderstar, and Thunderstar is related to Gray Wing, who is related to Clear Sky. Both are related to the Tribes. Gray Wing was in WindClan and ShadowClan. Clear Sky was in SkyClan, and Thunderstar was in ThunderClan. So actually, they aren't related to RiverClan, but they are related to:

ThunderClan
WindClan
ShadowClan
The Tribe
SkyClan

Because Cloudstar had two kits left behind, a dark brown tabby tom and a tortoiseshell she-cat, Spottedleaf and Tigerclaw are related to SkyClan. Brambleclaw, son of Tigerclaw, is Squirrelflight's mate, which makes Leafpool related too! Since she is related to the Three, that connects them through Firestar, Crowfeather, and the others. Boom!

When Scourge kills Tigerstar, he strikes 9 major organs causing him to lose more than 1 life

Scourge hit the brain, heart, stomach, liver, kidneys, lungs, etc.

Tigerclaw felt bad for Cinderpelt's incident

He was the one who set the trap for Bluestar, but she came instead. I think he was hoping Fireheart would come as well and die.

- LIONBLAZE

Wow, that is very surprising. I didn't think Tigerstar could feel sorry.

Originally, Moonflower was going to be Duskflower

Why not? Erins, you should have gone with this. Moon is a forbidden prefix.
