Worst Safeties Entering the 2018 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 Chris Conte

No sacks, but a crap tons of tackles through his career Conte is the type of guy who is a backup player at best because going in his area is like giving up plenty of yards, and touchdowns need I say more.

2 Adrian Phillips

All eye glaze upon the big steal in Derwin James, but With the dwindling injury concerns moving forward can the secondary bail this team out suddenly.

3 Darian Thompson

Landon Collins was a very nice pick they needed an early steal a couple years back, and since that secondary has been picked apart from 3 dynamic plays to 1 and a half in which corner has also been destroyed a bit too, and on the other side being Thompson who looked to be beat a lot last year in a very disappointing season.

4 Deshazor Everett

The Redskins got some great upgrades in Norman, and Swearinger were nice addition, but in Everett's three season hasn't done that much, and thus puts the team back into just an average crew every time.

5 Mo Alexander

Also known by full name ''Maurice'' who knows Kam is gone, and Earl Thomas might be traded mid-season perhaps in doing so Maurice Alexander must step up if he doesn't the Seahawks could regress for awhile.

6 Adrian Colbert

While it can change in year two, but Ward is the main starter where he could shine at times to which maybe they could switch him to strong instead who knows.

7 Keith Tandy

While he has a lot of tackles, but then again they are terrible in the passing game for a reason.

8 Shawn Williams

In five season he still hasn't made a convincing case of a starting safety to have other than a bottom feeders choice.

9 Colin Jones

One of the starting safeties who has been around, and really isn't all that honestly since even when Kurt Coleman was still in town.

10 Leon McQuay III

More of a backup safety for the Chiefs, but when Berry is down the Chiefs are in major trouble on defense that happened a lot in the 2nd half in 2017.
