Best YouTube Guitarists

Steve Terreberry
He used to be decent, but now he's just cringe and insults other musicians for performing while he's too scared to do it himself.
The Audio Audit on Stevie T perfectly describes why I don't like him. I used to watch him when he made decent videos, but now he's just cringe. I hate him. He advertised A&E in a video targeting children, claimed the content wasn't directed at kids despite his tags, and now he's making music solely for kids because he ran off most of his guitar-focused audience. Gary Glitter of djent.
He is a god! He can shred better than Jared Dines, and he is way funnier than Rob Scallon. Easily the best!

Jared Dines
Jared Dines (born October 6, 1989) is an American musician and YouTuber from Seattle, Washington. He is best known for his videos focused on heavy metal music, including covers, parodies, and original compositions. As of 2025, his YouTube channel has nearly 3 million subscribers.... read more
His videos are very good, useful, and funny. I'm a fan. Some of my favorites are: Deathcore VS Death Metal and Metal VS Metalcore.
Bro pioneered a whole community that piggybacked on djent. Yikes. Skits were okay, everything else was just slop.
He's a genius multi-instrumentalist. I like his videos. They're very funny.

Rob Chapman
He knows his guitars like the palm of his hand. One of the most knowledgeable guitar players out there. Just check his blindfold challenges if you want proof.
Does he still do YouTube? I thought that hack got exposed and blown out of the water. An undying ego!
-
Rob Scallon
More creative and a better writer/composer than Dines. He doesn't need to rely on flashiness. His song Rain is a great example of that.
I don't know the rest of the YouTubers on the list, but Rob is the best!

TheDooo
He has to be at least number three. The guy can do anything you want, even writing his own songs, which sound incredible.
This man has thousands upon thousands of songs memorized and can play almost anything by ear. Come on.
He plays so clean and beautifully, and he can play any song by ear.
-
Karl Golden
He's good, but he used to do only riff compilation videos with his guitar playing.
-
Charlie Parra del Riego
I voted for him because he's still too low on the list by comparison to the others.
Jared Dines is good, but I prefer Charlie's guitar skills more.
He's got the best skills on this list.
-
331Erock (Eric Calderone)
Talent-wise, Erock is the essential metal guitarist. He can write and improvise like a madman (see his footage from NAMM at the ESP Guitars booth). Oh yeah. He's also an ESP Guitarist.
One of my favorite guitarists, and to add on, he doesn't even really talk, let alone need clickbait-like content to be popular.
This man is a beast on guitar. My favorite YouTube guitarist.

NeoGeoFanatic
This guy is seriously awesome. I don't speak French, but his licks speak for him.
-
Angel Vivaldi
Why isn't he in the top five? Angel can play melodies that others have not thought of.

Music is Win
Berklee kid with more guitars and gear than talent. His parents funded everything just to fuel his ego. He doesn't know how to write a song. Check out his EP Nashville Noises for a good example of how wealth doesn't equal talent. Total hack!
Tyler is a fantastic, versatile guitarist who needs more recognition.
-
Niko Slash
He is probably one of the best guitarists I have seen on YouTube. I find him better than Slash, as he not only plays really well but also adds his own improvisation after the main guitar solo of almost every song he covers.
-
Steve Stine
He has better videos than Jared Dines.
-
Carl Brown
He is the only guitar teacher that teaches songs the right way.
-
Marty Schwartz
The OG. He has not only influenced every YouTube guitarist, but he has probably helped millions worldwide learn songs and influenced people to pick up a guitar.
-
0902yuji (Gaku Kawajiri)
-
Sarah Longfield
-
Andrew Foy
Come on, he is the best. How come only 2% like him? Though he only does covers, he deserves to be in the top five.

Justin Sandercoe
Best YouTube guitar teacher out there. His teaching style is unparalleled, and Justin is a wicked guitar player.
