Top 10 Best Years for YouTube
YouTube has changed so much over the years that your favorite version of the site may feel almost unrecognizable compared with the one you use now. Depending on when you started watching, you might remember an era for its creators, viral videos, gaming channels, memes, or the wonderfully strange homemade content that could send you down a three-hour rabbit hole.

The first year of YouTube, it also has the first video, which was the one at the zoo.

Yes, it's the best year for YouTube. Literally the peak of YouTube.
I enjoyed 2014 a lot. Over 90% of the videos in 2014 were really good, including the good Minecraft and Nintendo gameplay vids (Racist Mario can go to hell). Only 0.1% of the videos were bad, including that one.
It was just before YouTube went slowly downhill through 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, and got worse in 2020.
Now 10% of the videos are bad as of 2024. I miss 2014. It was 10 years ago!
I hope and wait for a year in the near future that can bring back 2014.
Because there used to not be a lot of bad videos for kids.

Smosh and Pewdiepie were really big. Also, 2013 was the year that Minecraft was really good. Skydoesminecraft, Captainsparklez, JeromeASF, BajanCanadian, SSundee, and the rest of Team Crafted exploded during 2013.
Now, Minecraft is ruined and it's full of ten-year-olds and G-rated content. I wish it could go back to 2013.
2013 was great. And yeah, like the other guy said, Minecraft was good in 2013. Now, DanTDM and PopularMMOs ruined it! 2016 sucks.
The team crafted, OctagonCollaboration, they all made 2013 great.

2006-2013: Golden years
2014-2015: Good
2016-2019: Mixture of good and bad
2020-2021: Bad
2022-2024: Terrible

2021: WORST YEAR FOR YT!!! 0/10
2022-2024: HORRIBLE. 2/10
