Top 10 Theme/Amusement Park Rides with Attractions with the Best Seating

Some theme/amusement park attractions are great & even the seating lives up to the attraction’s & ride’s nature.
The Top Ten
1 VelociCoaster (Universal's Islands of Adventure)

It has lap bars, which intensify the thrill factor and provide much more freedom throughout the ride. It's said to offer a total of 12 combined seconds of airtime, and its ejector airtime is almost at the same level as Skyrush at Hersheypark (except it doesn't crush thighs like Skyrush is known to do). The seating is perfect for the ride's theme, based on Jurassic World. The versatile layout makes it a favorite among coaster enthusiasts.

2 Top Thrill Dragster (Cedar Point)

For such a tall and ultra-fast coaster, it only has lap bars, making this a big plus for hardcore thrill-seekers. Ejector airtime to the max.

3 Mako (SeaWorld Orlando)

This coaster is said to have the best seating of all B&M coasters. As a hyper coaster with clamshell-shaped seats, it provides airtime somewhere between the floater and ejector range. Plus, it's known for being exceptionally smooth.

4 Maverick (Cedar Point)

The restraints are excellent for this type of ride. The seating allows riders to zip along the track with tight turns and launches, although the drops aren't the best. This ride emphasizes speed over all other aspects.

5 Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast (Six Flags St. Louis, USA)

For a ride that reverses so fast, the seating is great for this type and theming. It has lap bars, though it has been running forward again since 2022.

6 Eejanaika (Fuji-Q Highland)

As a third-dimension coaster, it takes the thrill to the next level. The seating isn't bad for this type of ride, but you'll be thrown around rapidly while flipping. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.

7 X2 (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

The seating is purposeful for this specially designed coaster. It lifts you vertically and throws you around almost randomly while flipping, creating a truly unique experience.

8 Tatsu (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

This flying coaster takes the concept to new levels, putting others to shame. The seating is ideal, allowing you to hang like Superman or another hero flying through the air. The biggest inversion near the end of the ride, rather than the beginning, helps build anticipation for thrill seekers. It might be the best flying coaster on Earth.

9 Formula Rossa (Ferrari World)

This is the fastest coaster on Earth due to its launch, which reaches 149.1 mph in 4.5 seconds. While the Incredicoaster at Disneyland California also achieves a launch in 4.5 seconds, it only reaches 55 mph. Although not the tallest coaster, the speed makes up for it, and the seating suits this ultra-fast coaster.

10 Intimidator 305 (Kings Dominion)
The Contenders
11 Kraken (SeaWorld Orlando)

As a floorless coaster and the first of its kind at SeaWorld Orlando, you ride through seven inversions with your feet dangling, providing a thrilling experience.

12 Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (Universal's Islands of Adventure)

It has the best seating at Universal besides the VelociCoaster. This motorbike coaster is perfectly aligned with the Harry Potter theme.

13 Magnum XL-200 (Cedar Point)

The wheel seats, man. And the fact it's basically a mine train vehicle 200 feet in the air.

14 Griffon (Busch Gardens Williamsburg)

Although it has over-the-shoulder restraints and resembles Sheikra in Florida, this floorless coaster adds extra thrill.

15 The Cyclone (Luna Park)

They don't make vehicles like this anymore.

16 Mr. Freeze (Six Flags Over Texas)

Even though it now runs forward again, it's great that it only has lap bars.
