Top 10 Theme/Amusement Park Rides with Attractions with the Best Seating

Some theme/amusement park attractions are great & even the seating lives up to the attraction’s & ride’s nature.
The Top Ten
1 VelociCoaster (Universal's Islands of Adventure)

It has lap bars. People would agree with this as it intensifies the thrill factor & allows much more freedom throughout the ride. It's said to have 12 combined seconds of airtime in total & its ejector airtime toward the max at similar levels to Skyrush at Hersheypark (except this thankfully isn't said to crush thighs like that ride does). Its seating is totally fitting for the theme of this ride (which's based off of Jurassic World). Not to mention it has perhaps the most versatile layout of all coasters worldwide, making this a big winner for coaster fans.

2 Top Thrill Dragster (Cedar Point)

For such a tall & ultra fast coaster in general, it only has lap bars, which makes this a big plus for hardcore thrill seekers. Ejector airtime to the max.

3 Mako (SeaWorld Orlando)

It's said to have the best seating of all B&M coasters. It's a hyper coaster with clam shell shaped seats, allowing for airtime somewhere between the floater & ejector range to all of the above. Not to mention how smooth it's said to be.

4 Maverick (Cedar Point)

It has great restraints for its type. For the way you're seated, it really gets riders zipping along the track with tight turns, launches, though not the best drops. But this ride is more about speed than any other of its aspects.

5 Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast (Six Flags St. Louis, USA)

For a ride that reverses you so fast, this has good seating for such type & theming. It has lap bars, though it's now Mr. Freeze forward again since 2022.

6 Eejanaika (Fuji-Q Highland)

It's a 3rd dimension coaster, therefore thrill is taken to the next level. For such a ride, the seating isn't said to be bad, yet you literally are getting thrown around at such pace while flipping around. Definitely not for the faint hearted.

7 X2 (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

The seating is very purposeful for such a specially designed coaster. Not to mention this coaster lifts you up vertically & throws you around almost randomly while flipping you. An experience unlike any other.

8 Tatsu (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

It's a flying coaster taken to new levels. Putting others of such type to shame. The seating is great for such a ride as it obviously allows you to hang like Superman or other heroes flying in the air. Yet it's said to be better than the biggest inversion is near the end of the ride instead of the beginning, as that helps build anticipation for thrill seekers. It's perhaps the best of all flying coasters on Earth.

9 Formula Rossa (Ferrari World)

It's the fastest coaster in Earth due to its launch (which goes up to 149.1 mph in 4.5 seconds). We know Incredicoaster ant Disneyland California achieves a launch in the same amount of time, but it's 55 mph instead of this. It's not the tallest, but the speed's said to make up for it & the seating is good for such a coaster with ultra fast nature.

10 Intimidator 305 (Kings Dominion)
The Contenders
11 Kraken (SeaWorld Orlando)

It's a floorless coaster as well as SeaWorld Orlando's 1st such. You ride through 7 inversions as your feet dangle. That's definitely said to be thrilling.

12 Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (Universal's Islands of Adventure)

It's said to have the best seating at Universal besides the Velocicoaster. It's a motorbike coaster done right though & fits the Harry Potter theme.

13 Magnum XL-200 (Cedar Point)

The wheel seats, man. And the fact it's basically a mine train vehicle 200ft in the air.

14 Griffon (Busch Gardens Williamsburg)

It may have over the shoulder restraints & resemble Sheikra in Florida, but it's a floorless coaster, adding to the thrill.

15 The Cyclone (Luna Park)

They don't make vehicles like this anymore.

16 Mr. Freeze (Six Flags Over Texas)

Sure, it now runs forward again, but it's still good that it only has lap bars...
