  1. Journey Into Imagination converted to Journey Into YOUR Imagination (Epcot)

    The original Journey Into Imagination was absolutely amazing. Journey Into YOUR Imagination was horrible. The public hated it so much that Disney closed the ride just two years after its opening.

  2. Maelstrom converted to Frozen Ever After (Epcot)

    What a great idea, Disney. Get one of your best rides and turn it into something based on one of the most overrated movies in history.

  3. Horizons converted to Mission: SPACE (Epcot)

    Disney, why would you replace Horizons with a ride that has injured hundreds of people?!

  4. PeopleMover converted to Rocket Rods (Disneyland)

    What happens when you have a high-speed ride on an older structure? It damages it and frequently breaks down. Rocket Rods was extremely unreliable and broke down at least once a day.

    They could've just demolished the entire track and rebuilt the tracks from scratch, adding new track effects to make it fast.

  5. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror converted to Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! (Disney California Adventure)

    I agree that they shouldn't have closed Tower of Terror, but Mission Breakout is still pretty fun.

    Again, replacing an iconic ride to get more money from people. Shaking my head, Disney.

  6. Space Mountain (1975 version) converted to Space Mountain (2009 version) (Disneyland)

    This year, they removed the moving walkway and all the screens that showed your face. You know, some people have trouble walking due to things like diabetes or MS, but now they will have to suffer even more.

    Too dark. You can't see anything.

  7. Journey Into YOUR Imagination converted to Journey Into Imagination with Figment (Epcot)

    Journey Into Imagination With Figment is better than its predecessor, but nowhere near the 80s version.

  8. The Great Movie Ride converted to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

    Once again, closing a great ride and turning it into something based on two of the most annoying characters in animation history.

  9. Ellen's Energy Adventure converted to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (Epcot)

    Doing it to get more money. Cough, cough.

  10. Test Track 1.0 converted to Test Track 2.0 (Epcot)

    I myself don't hate this refurbishment anymore, but there are a lot of people who do.

    Downtown Disney converted to Disney Springs (Walt Disney World)

    Disney turned a great district into glorified mall with a bunch of bars.

    They closed down Pleasure Island and replaced it with more bars.

    They even followed Guy Fieri's footsteps in turning Planet Hollywood into a Las Vegas copy disguised as an observatory.

    They removed the hanging lights from the West Side.

    They got rid of Magnetron.

    They closed down DisneyQuest (on July 2017 though) for a failed attraction called the NBA Experience.

    The place used to be full of magical Disney charm, and now it's almost a misnomer of its former self.

    They should've kept it Paradise Pier instead of changing it to Pixar Pier.

  14. California Screamin' converted to Incredicoaster (Disney California Adventure)

    This is part of the Pixar Pier refurbishment.

    Why did they close this ride? Wasn't this everyone's favorite ride before the Pixar Pier retheme?

  15. The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter converted to Stitch's Great Escape! (Magic Kingdom)

    UGH. This was the WORST! They turned a great attraction into garbage.

    Worst Disney move, they turned one of the best attractions into the worst.

  16. Enchanted Tiki Room converted to The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) (Magic Kingdom)

    Thankfully, they reverted to the original show after the Iago mech caught on fire.

  17. Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune converted to Space Mountain: Mission 2 (Disneyland Paris)

    And they made it even worse when it became Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Greedy Disney with all the Star Wars stuff.

    This is for Disneyland Paris, though I heard rumors that Disney's going to turn Disney World's version into a Monsters, Inc. door factory.

    I used to ride this a long time ago when it was original and classic, and we crashed through a barn. Now, Disney changed it to fit with the new Storybook Circus after closing down Toontown Fair. Apparently, you don't crash through a barn anymore but a billboard. I don't get why it's still called the Barnstormer. They ruined a wonderful ride.
