Top 10 Worst Disney Attraction Refurbishments
The original Journey Into Imagination was absolutely amazing. Journey Into YOUR Imagination was horrible. The public hated it so much that Disney closed the ride just TWO YEARS after its opening.
What a great idea, Disney. Get one of your best rides and turn it into something based on one of the most overrated movies in history.
I agree that they shouldn't have closed Tower of Terror, but Mission Breakout is still pretty fun.
Surprised this ain't at #1 yet.
What happens when you have a high speed ride on an older structure? It damages it, and frequently breaks down. Rocket Rods was extremely unreliable, and broke down at least once a day.
They could've just demolished the entire track and rebuild the tracks from scratch and add new track effects to make it fast?!
This yer they removed the moving walkway and all the screens that you see your face on.
You know some people have trouble walking due to things like diabetes or MS, but now they will have to suffer and only make everything worse.
Too dark, you can't see anything.
Journey Into Imagination With Figment is better than its predecessor, but nowhere near the 80s version.
Once again, closing a great ride and turning it into something based on two of the most annoying characters in anime history.
Doing it to get more money. Cough. Cough
Obviously, this is not a problem since Epcot is about the Future.
I myself don't hate this refurb anymore, but there are a lot of people who do.
They should've kept it Paradise Pier instead of changing it to Pixar Pier
Why did they close this ride? Wasn't this everyone's favorite ride before the Pixar Pier retheme
UGH This was the WORST! They turned a great attraction and turned it into garbage.
Worst Disney move, they turned one of the best Attractions into the worst.
That was horrible
And they made it even worse when it became Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.
Greedy Disney with all the Star Wars stuff.
This is for Disneyland Paris, though I heard rumors that Disney's gonna turn Disney World's version into Monsters Inc. door factory.
That's enough Star Wars, disney!
Terrible, do I need to say more?
I used to ride this a long time ago, it was when it was original and classic, and we crashed through a barn, and now, Disney changed it to fit with the new Storybook Circus after closing down Toontown Fair.
Apparently, you don't crash through a barn anymore, but a billboard.
I don't get why it's still called the Barnstormer.
They ruined a wonderful ride.
