Best Rebounders In NBA History

The Top Ten

1 Dennis Rodman Dennis Rodman

Best in the history because of rebound rate, a stat that counts how many rebounds he got according to the minutes he played, and the number of rebounds available (missed shots of both teams)

His average equals Chamberlain and Russel's best years

case closed

He is number one because of his height as 6'7 and he grab ball with the 7footers guys. And hard work. To get the ball.. Wilt. Is to tall and also bill... That's why for me rodman is the first in the list

He was absolutely the best. He made rebounding an art form and made the Hall of Fame primarily on those skills alone. Traveling to North Korea? He means no harm. Rodman craves attention. Always has, always will.

In the modern era Dennis played against 29 other teams. Wilt and Russell played against 8 teams. And also more talent, more athleticism during rodmans time and Shaq was playing duncan Hakeem I mean he played against so many great centers and he out rebounded them all

2 Wilt Chamberlain Wilt Chamberlain Wilton Norman "Wilt" Chamberlain was an American basketball player . He was born on August 21, 1936 in Philadelphia and died on October 12, 1999 in Los Angeles due to heart failure . more.

This is legit crazy. Dude in his last year at age 36 he averaged 18.6 rebounds per game. Seriously and he is not number 1?

Dennis rodman is pretty good with rebounding but wilt literally is a beast with grabbing a rebound. HE NEEDS TO BE NUMBER 1!

uve got to be kidding me? wilt has to be number one.... wilt= rebounding machine...

I think I like pizza more

9 Jerry Lucas

Come on guys, get real. Jerry Lucas outrebounded Walt Bellamy in college and in the pros and always. He was pound per pound the best rebounder ever. Look at his numbers per playing minutes and tell me why he is not 3rd to Chamberlain and Russell! He even outrebounded Russell for one entire year! If you want this list to have crediblity you need Jerry Lucas way up high or the list is messed up and NOT REAL!

Lucas is one of 3 players to avg. 20 pts and 20 rebounds in a season Eat your heart out Rodman.
