Best Rebounders In NBA HistoryFootballDog61
The Top Ten
Best in the history because of rebound rate, a stat that counts how many rebounds he got according to the minutes he played, and the number of rebounds available (missed shots of both teams)
His average equals Chamberlain and Russel's best years
The Worm was tenacious. He knew he couldn't shoot a ball to save his life so he makes up for it in his ruthless, aggressive, addiction to getting the ball back and giving it to his scorers. Dennis Rodman was beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the best defenders shot blockers and rebounders ever even with his shorter height. He was a lion
He is number one because of his height as 6'7 and he grab ball with the 7footers guys. And hard work. To get the ball.. Wilt. Is to tall and also bill... That's why for me rodman is the first in the list
The Showstop! He really deserves it and I can imagine his playing carreers on the bulls and he is a rebounding machido! He did it like averaged almost 20% he is really great therefore evwn he's not a great scorer on his playing times.V 22 Comments
This is legit crazy. Dude in his last year at age 36 he averaged 18.6 rebounds per game. Seriously and he is not number 1?
Dennis rodman is pretty good with rebounding but wilt literally is a beast with grabbing a rebound. HE NEEDS TO BE NUMBER 1!
uve got to be kidding me? wilt has to be number one.... wilt= rebounding machine...
Wilt would crush "The Worm" with one hand!V 8 Comments
One of the best all time. Not a lot of help in houston.
Definitely the best offensive rebounder ever
Charles barkley then nate Thurmond
Come on guys, get real. Jerry Lucas outrebounded Walt Bellamy in college and in the pros and always. He was pound per pound the best rebounder ever. Look at his numbers per playing minutes and tell me why he is not 3rd to Chamberlain and Russell! He even outrebounded Russell for one entire year! If you want this list to have crediblity you need Jerry Lucas way up high or the list is messed up and NOT REAL!
Lucas is one of 3 players to avg. 20 pts and 20 rebounds in a season Eat your heart out Rodman.
Shaq is a good rebounder.
4 seasons leading in rebounds, in this modern era. Come on guys, D12 deserves to be higher
Haha this list just lost every bit of credibility possible. Attention avid NBA fans looking for an entertaining read on a reputable site, LEAVE NOW! Basic homerism wouldn't even explain this level of ignorance.
He was the best maker ever rebounding scoring defense
In the top 10 every full season that he played. Averaged 20 a game one season at only 6'5''.. Had over 30 rebounds in a game 3 times. Had a game with 71 points scored and 25 rebounds. Absolutely in the top 5 all-time.
If you are trying to tell me that anyone is better than the white mamba himself at anything, then you have never had the privilege to witness a scalabrine game
