Top Ten Beta Pokemon

Beta Arceus had a very ghost-like mysterious design that fits especially in the role of the creator of the pokemon universe. This pokemon's sprite leaves more speculation if they could've kept this sprite in the main games unlike the elaborate sprite

Beta Girafarig seems to be the most unique out from the beta sprites. Instead of having a conscious tail on its back, this pokemon was designed like two giraffes combined with each other with lighter-yellowish skin and darker toned skin on the other side.

Beta Leafeon had multiple "leaf" tails instead of having a single one. The roots from its feet gave it a little bit more realism but a bit of overdetail, and the most distinctive feature is that it didn't have the sharp sprout protruding from its head compared to the current sprite.

Beta Hoppip looked like it's protruding from the soil rather than floating and it shares traits similar to felines, given by its longer distinctive tail. Beta Hoppip's skin is black, rather than pink.

Cleffa had a more pinker version on its beta stage and its design had a circular bulge instead of having a curved tuft on its head.

Beta Pinsir looked similar compared to the current sprite, except its mouth was replaced by a skull protruding on the middle of its body and it had a horn protruding on the middle of its head. The beta sprite had two larger spikes on each of its pincers facing its horn on the middle and its fingers seem to have a bit sharper claws. It was supposed to be some sort of evolution but it was scrapped.

Beta Wooper had a more fatter sprite back in the Gold and Silver demo.

Beta Scizor basically looks the same as Shiny Scizor, well almost. Beta Scizor was a Bug/Flying type and evolved from Scyther in level 41, but later it was revamped and its type was changed to Bug/Steel and evolved using a metal coat.

Beta probopass had a much simpler design; just a comically larger nose and mustache, that's pretty much it.
