Top 10 Denver Nuggets Players of 2019-20

Previously I made a list about the Warriors. Now let’s just go down the line with the next best team. The Denver Nuggets. They had a pretty successful year until they got knocked out in the conference semifinals by the Blazers Who we’ll get to eventually
The Top Ten
Nikola Jokic Nikola Jokić is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association.

Nikola Jokic is the leader of this team. In my opinion, he is the second best player on this team. He is the model of efficiency. He has 57% effective field goal percentage. He has never dipped below 54%.

Last year he had arguably his best season yet and I expect him to continue to build upon that. He’s only 24 and still has plenty of years left in his prime.

Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant is shooting 40% from three. That is very shocking considering his shooting was a huge concern coming in.

Last year he had a breakout season with OKC in a way. Now with the Nuggets he has a chance to break out once again.

Will Barton

Will Barton is a weird player. His playing time seems to stagnate. This was his first year as a full-time starter. Could they maybe get an upgrade though.

A versatile player who had a bit of a setback year in 2018. Luckily he’s staying in Denver for the short term future

Jamal Murray

Jamal Murray is a bucket. He is only 23, but he is averaging 18 points per game. That is good for a 23 year old. He could climb into that upper eschelon of PGs in 3-5 years.

Arguably one of the better players Denver has. Averaged 18 points per game in 2018. Denver seems to be keeping him around for a little while so expect him to continue to play a big role

Paul Millsap Paul Millsap is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association.

Paul Millsap has turned into a great stretch 4. He is shooting 44% from three. His contract isn't as bad anymore, since this is his last year. He obviously isn't a all-star anymore, but if you can re-sign him for cheap, do it.

Arguably one of the top 3 players for Denver a year ago. If he stays he’ll likely be one of the best. Only reason why he’s so low is because his contract is kinda up in the air right now he could either stay or become a free agent

Gary Harris

Pretty much in the same spot as Barton. They are just average players. Harris would be a good 6th man, but he makes a lot of money to only be a 6th man.

He’s a decent enough player and he could play a decent role this upcoming season. The Nuggets still have him for a few seasons

Malik Beasley

Last year he had a career year for Denver. Now he’ll be entering the final year of his current contract. Denver will have a decision to make at the end of the season

Michael Porter Jr

On to MPJ. I am a huge Porter fan. I am legitimately upset he isn't starting. He has played great in the minutes he had played. He is averaging 8 points and 4 boards. He is shooting an amazing 42% from three on about 2 attempts a game note: some of those games he only played like 5 minutes. I like MPJ and he showed encouraging signs. Play him more.

This is a guy I expect to get some action and be able to play. He wasn’t able to last year but this guy has some potential to do well in the NBA.

Mason Plumlee Mason Alexander Plumlee is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association.

Plumlee is entering the final year of his current contract and he’ll be a decent big bench player. He was fairly consistent and with Bol Bol Likely needing time to develop Plumlee should be able to build off his stats from last year

A decent backup center. He is averaging about 7 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists. They could find better though.

Monte Morris

Monte Morris is a good backup point and I think he could be a great played for the Nuggets.

The Contenders
Bol Bol

The Nuggets acquired him from the Heat. Assuming he recovers from his injury he has the potential to thrive in the NBA

Torrey Craig

Why the frapachola is he starting over MPJ?
