Top 10 Disney Characters Who Don't Speak

The Top Ten
1 Dumbo

Dumbo is probably the best known speechless character in animated history. Dumbo becomes worthy of the viewer’s sympathy almost immediately, as the character is taunted by other elephants due to his oversized ears and eventually separated from his mother. Along with Timothy, Dumbo teaches us that if you just do the best with what you have, you can reach heights you've never dreamed of.

2 Dopey

Dopey stands out as the most lovable and memorable member of the Seven Dwarfs. He’s a sweet, goofy figure who first discovers Snow White sleeping in their seven beds, and it’s clear immediately that Dopey is in love with her. Dopey attempts to get a second kiss from Snow White by doubling back to the end of the line when she gives each of the dwarfs a kiss.

3 Tinker Bell Tinker Bell is a fictional character from J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan and its 1911 novelization Peter and Wendy.
4 Wall-E

The silly sidekick to Honest John/J. Worthington Foulfellow, Gideon had a fantastic silent performance in Pinocchio. Fun fact: he was originally supposed to be voiced by legendary voice actor Mel Blanc, who voiced like every Looney Tunes character, but Disney decided to make Gideon a mute character and Blanc never worked for the studio again.
