And by extension, the live-action remakes as a whole. I personally would've chosen the Lion King remake but whatever, this one sucked too.
So controversial its actually been banned in the States, which begs the question as to why people are more forgiving about Gone with the Wind which tread the same waters and featured Hattie McDaniel. If anything Gone with the Wind glorified slavery even more than Song of the South did!

Wasn't super controversial upon its initial release, but it certainly is now ever since Colleen Ballinger (aka Miranda Sings) has been exposed as a serial child groomer.
