Favourite Disney Villains

The Top Ten

1 Scar - The Lion King Scar is the main antagonist of Disney's 1994 animated feature film, The Lion King. He was the second son of Ahadi and Uru — who were, at one time, King and Queen of the Pride Lands — the younger brother of Mufasa, and the uncle of Simba.

Scar is definitely #1 among the Disney villains : he doesn't fight you, he backstabs you. He lies, he manipulates and he kills ruthlessly to get what he wants.

He killed his big brother and tried to pin the guilt on his nephew.

He raised an army of hyenas, talked trash to them all along, and ruined the pride lands in a few years of ruling.

And when he was finally backed down to a corner, he fought dirty!

Best thing about Scar? He's not advertising being a villain : he plots, he moves his pawns in the shadow and when he strikes, you're already done for! Who knew Scar was the villain before he tossed Mufasa off that cliff (viewer aside)? No-one! Heck he even managed to get away with kin(g)slaying for years without anyone even suspecting him...

And to those who say Maleficient is a much better villain than Scar, I say "bitch please?! ".

You piss off Maleficient, what's she gonna do? Make you sleep for a few years?

You piss of ...more

That little voice in the back of everyone else' mind that tells them NOT to say something out loud, you know that voice? Yeah Scar doesn't have that. I mean, he insulted his minions right in front of their faces and they accepted it because the amount of Scar's badassary is through the roof. Who else would still have THAT many followers after openly stating, "I'm surrounded by idiots." and many other cruel comments? No one.

GREAT MOVIE!
GREAT VILLAIN!
GREAT HERO!
GREAT CHARACTERS!
GREAT PLOT!
GREAT MUSIC!
ALL OF IT IS JUST SO GREAT!

Scar is actually one of few villains to have their plan succeed. He wanted to be king and he got it. He even had to get blood on his hands to do so.

If Simba never returned then he would still be king and all the Pride Lands will be just a land of death.

The meanest stupidest worst baddest character of all Disney Out of envy killed his brother and lied about him the whole time! Because he hated him stupid brother

2 Maleficent - Sleeping Beauty

Number 2? Really people? And you voted Scar as number one? Maleficent is the greatest disney villain ever, and the scariest. Because she has so much power, she is maybe the only one who did won during the movie. Aurora's curs came true, she captured Philip... I mean? Sure, Lady Tremaine is the biggest bitch of all time, and The Queen in Snow White is a psycho, Frollo is a sociopath, and that Rat on lady and the tramp?! JESUS that's pretty scary stuff... But scar? Scar is total crazy, and delivers some funny stuff from time to time, but he's so stupid and coward, he doesn't have the dignity Maleficent has. Plus she has a castle of her own, and maybe the scariest place off all the movies I've seen, you DON'T wanna get near that place.

She is beautiful but she was not always evil. She was made evil by her love betraying her. She loves aurora like a daughter and her good side comes out in the live action movie.

Maleficent has got it all: looks, the evil heart and a hidden heart of gold!

Maleficent she is gorgeous and seductive and intriguing. Great character, love her in both the human and dragon form!

3 Judge Claude Frollo - The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I can't stand Frollo...so that technically means that I think he's the best villain, right? That's how it works? Well, yeah, Frollo is the worst, he's down right evil and scary! He is discriminative which is something I really hate. He is so sinister and his villian song is the creepiest, I mean come on, its called Hellfire...'enough said. He was so cruel to poor naive Quasimodo, he killed his mother right at the steps of the church and to top it all off he was willing to drop Quasimodo down a well...a BABY! He even referred to him as "an un-holy demon" and a "foul creature" just because of a birth defect. Plus, like any villian, he is greedy and will do anything to get his way. Even. Setting. Paris. On. Fire. Frollo is the one who should be called a demon! These are just a few of the things he did. The worst part of all is that he does all these things while posing as a very religious official. He thinks he was pleasing God? I think not! (I know not). Hands down, Frollo is the most ...more

Scar is a little bit more of a villain to me, and only because Scar had an entire reason to BE a villain. The reason I say this is because Claude Frollo burns down Paris just to arrest Esmeralda, which I can understand why because he thinks she's evil... But still. Scar killed Mufasa because he wanted to rule all. He wanted to be the villain

No matter how much I like Scar, I still have to say that Frollo is the best Disney villain ever made. Like come on, the first thing we see him doing is killing an innocent woman and almost drowning a baby. Scar had some motivation, but I have never fully understood why he wanted to be the king. We could understand the things Frollo did, but still hate him.

Hey, let's think about the Disney-villains! There are only few that are not funny in any kind of way no matter how hard you look it. Frollo is one of them. He's just straight-up evil, scary and creepy.

And as all Disney villains, he was ready to do anything to get what he wanted. By the word anything I mean burning the whole Paris down and by the word what I mean the young woman who fortunately was one of the best Disney heroines ever made who could fight back.

The only thing I dislike about him is how he dies, but I still like how the "villain falling to their death"-cliche was made. Did you notice that the ...more

Scar is way too over-the-top and bland compared to this guy. Don't get me wrong, Scar HAS a motivation, but everyone already knows he's evil, and he even outright brags about it. Frollo legitimately believes what he does is good, and that he is serving God. He does horrible things, but constantly finds justifications for why he did said things, while Scar knows he did bad things and just sticks with it. I like what his voice actor, Tony Jay, said about his character: "What I like about Frollo, is that we, uh, tried to write him in a way, that all his actions, all the things he does... Are understandable, but not excusable." You understand why he did the things he did, but you still hate him for it. And also, he's probably got the coolest villain song, "Hellfire". I mean, come on, guys. COME ON.

4 Hades - Hercules

People must be trippin to not put this guy higher up, he had a plan to rearrange the cosmos!

He's so hilarious. Should be #1. Love his cute little sidekick, Panic.

Damn was he smart though.

He literally stated a FACT (I'm a guy, so don't @ me)

When Megara insisted Hercules was kind, awesome and very brave, Hades literally said, 'Please.'
'He's a guy.'

Hades is the most hilarious villain ever! Such a hothead, too (LITERALLY! ) The best thing about him is his hair (no doubt about that)! How it turns orange when he's mad (but it's weird; when his hair is orange, his hair is cooler 'cause orange fire is cooler than blue fire), how it sparks when he is excited, and his hairstyle! YEAH!

5 Jafar - Aladdin

I like jafar because he is sarcastic even though I don't know what sarcastic means and he makes jokes.

Iago and jafar is the best pair also was in the great musical

Here are my reasons for absolutely LOVING Jafar
1) He wears a cape
2) The parrot. Ohh, the parrot.
3) In the final battle scene with Aladdin, he makes so many puns.
4) He uses his Cobra staff to manipulate the Sultan.
5) His sarcastic personalities (as well as Iago's) gives him some incredible jokes
Though I do believe that there are better Disney villains than him, like Scar, I just don't see why he's one step below Hades. While Hades is very funny, Jafar's power and wardrobe seem to be no match for Hades. Plus, he has a WWWAAAYYY better sidekick. Please move Jafar up. GO JAFAR!

He is the MOST EVIL Disney Villain. He is usually the 2nd best, but I want him to be 1st! WE WANT TO VOTE FOR JAFAR! He is better than Hades. I like Jafar so much! He is greatest Disney Villain than EVERY Disney Villain! I'm his favorite Disney Villain! He's so powerful!

6 Doctor Facilier - Princess and the Frog

COME ON, HOW CAN THIS GUY BE SO LOW! HE WAS EPIC! I mean compared to the other Disney villains, Doctor had better songs and was really great artistically. I know he was a coward but that just made me like him even more. He was a realistic villain. Honestly, he deserves, at least, to be on the top 20! Plus he's got friends on the other side!

I love this movie so much and he was one of the best villains. Where most villains are from made up world this doctor work his evil in New Orleans. Who ever said that the best villains had to be from a made up land are wrong. He shows that ever on Earth things aren't safe.

Oh well. we all knew facilier would not be number 1. but... I still think he is the best disney villain. I mean can you think of a animated villain that is dragged kicking and screaming into the voodoo spirit world, NO! Can I tell you something I hate maleficent just because of all the hype she gets and she controlls black magic just like facilier.

One of the most epic, catchy, and colorful songs in the past years. And probably one of the most terrifying death scenes in any Disney movie of all time.

7 Shere Khan - The Jungle Book

Few villains come close to the sheer level of sophistication, class, intimidation and stage presence of Shere Khan in the 1967 Disney animated classic. A grand Bengal tiger, he is the most physically threatening animal in the jungle, as well as the most intelligent (matched perhaps only by Bagheera and Mowgli). He is well spoken, articulate and speaks with a deep and intelligent voice, complete with immaculate manners. Shere Khan is regal in his entire manner of communication, body language and composure; he is the prince of the jungle.

Although we don't see a massive amount of Shere Khan in the film, whenever we do, all characters tremble in his presence while he remains intimidatingly calm and complacent. The only exception to this is Mowgli who was oblivious at the time. Characters are seen lying, mostly out of fear, to Shere Khan whenever he interrogates them, which Shere Khan sees right through, but rather than argue against their lies or kill them, he prefers to simply ...more - WhyAmIHere

I like shere khan because he is a tiger

No way no way no way he is so cool but not like scar shere khan is all about a fight while scar is full of lies and threats one thing is that they are both ready for revenge

Shere Khan is the best Disney villain! He appears in the best Disney movie, The Jungle Book

8 Ursula - The Little Mermaid Ursula is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 28th animated feature film The Little Mermaid.

Ursula is by far the best villain of all time. She is a realist, unlike King Trident. The trident guy just demands that his daughters obey him and do exactly what he says. She gives poor little Ariel a chance to do what she loves. But of course, like everything in life, it come with a price. She can't just let Ariel go up to the sea and live happily ever after. What would that teach Ariel about life? People just can't handle the truth about life. King Trident's message in life is always copy and follow other people's views about how they think things should be. Ursula's message in life was if you want something in this world, you will have to fight for it, and dodge obstacles to get there - Zach2277

Yup plus Ursula would be out of a business if she gave away stuff for free. - NerdBunny

I was expecting Ursula to be number one! Come on, don't tell me you didn't laugh at the part where she said "the importance of BODY LANGUAGE, HA! " Her song is fantastic and she was one of the smartest villains of all time. She tricked Ariel into making a deal and basically set her up for failure. She's evil, cunning, and has a distinctive personality

One of my favorite Disney villains I also like captain hook but I had to choose between them so I picked Ursula. I really like the song poor unfortunate souls and it made me curious as to why she got kicked out of king tritons kingdom and I love the way she acts she has a very evil voice and she is very manipulating and tricky! Shes a great Disney villian

Ursula is not only the best Disney villain, but the nicest. I mean, she only said she'd give Ariel legs. She didn't specify WHAT TYPE of legs.. Ariel could have been a centaur on land for Pete's sake, yet Ursula was nice enough to make her top half match the bottom half. Not to mention she's completely bat crazy in the best possible way!

9 Yzma - The Emperor's New Groove Yzma is the royal adviser of Emperor Kuzco in 'The Emperor's New Groove'. She is also a mad potions master and after being fired by Kuzco, she tries to use her potions to get rid of him and instate herself as empress.

Best Villain! So funny! Ah, how shall I do it? Oh, I know. I'll turn him into a flea, a harmless, little flea, and then I'll put that flea in a box, and then I'll put that box inside of another box, and then I'll mail that box to myself, and when it arrives...

laughs

...I'll smash it with a hammer! It's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, I tell you! Genius, I say!

knocks over bottle of poison on flower, which shrivels up and dies

Or, to save on postage, I'll just poison him with this. - pepperminty15

Well she is not wrong about Kusko he's a terrible emperor and I think he is the real villain of the movie

(You might recognize this quote from when I commeted on Best Disney Characters)
PULL THE LEVER KRUNK!
... FALLS
WRONG LEVER!

I know how to make Yzma number 1. First we turn Scar into a flea, a harmless, little flea, and then I'll put that flea in a box, and then I'll put that box inside of another box, and then I'll mail that box to myself, and when it arrives... SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER!

10 Gaston - Beauty and the Beast Gaston is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 30th animated feature film Beauty and the Beast.

the defination of a d-bag - aman28

Gaston is the best! But why the stupid pic on my left!?

Hilarious villain. He honestly makes me crack up! As much as he's a complete douche, he's kind of hot. Like, those muscles? Damn

Why use a picture from the terrible live action version? - KingDJ

The Contenders

11 Chernabog - Fantasia Chernabog is a Disney villain from the 1940s film Fantasia, and in his segment, "A Night on Bald Mountain".

How is this guy not number 1. HE IS SATAN HIMSELF

Forget this guy, CBR's webpage has a list of Disney Villains ranked by raw power only, and there's a very good reason this guy is number 2 and The Firebird is number 1. Firebird had no demostrable weaknesses, therefore and is never truly defeated. Plus, Firebird has way more mobility, so if these two demons got into a fight, Firebird's approach would be reason enough for the church bells to be sounded off.

Chernabog is possibly the most evil thing that has ever been created by Disney. Yet, he is not a well known villain. But he is one of the scariest most intimidating demons I have ever seen. He is also my most favorite villain that was in my most favorite Disney film fantasia

I think a Chernabog is the most evil all time Disney villain because he is the god of evil who is secretly the Disney villain group leader and is the only Disney villain that can never die so I vote for him.

12 The Wicked Queen - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

The wicked Queen is the best looking Disney villain ( before her transformation) so I pick her. I don't know why she let jealousy ruin her looks, jealousy is truly an evil trait to have. I think that's one of the lessons you learn in that movie, considering what happens to her.

I remember hiding underneath the cushions, fearing the wicked queen would kill me through the screen. - ohright

Shouldn't she be at like three or something! She was simple like with the apple but deathly evil

The Evil Queen Has to Be Number 1 I mean like where is your Brain people she said ' I hate her' and wants her heart clearly the best!

13 Cruella de Vil - One Hundred and One Dalmatians Cruella de Vil is a fictional character who appeared in Dodie Smith's 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians, Disney's animated film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, and Disney's live-action film adaptations 101 Dalmatians and 102 Dalmatians as the main ...read more.

She is the villain in one hundred and one dalmatians her crooks horace and jasper locks the nanny in the attic when they trick her parking their truck in front of the Radcliffe house

She's messed up. She wants to skin a lot of innocent puppies just for their fur! I mean, sure. Many other villains would kill people to reach their goal (Anthropomorphic animals included) but she would kill puppies just for fashion! She is an evil, wicked woman! - Daviddv0601

Totally number one who is against turning puppies into fur so that is tots wrong

All time favorite villain! - funkymonkey

14 Captain Hook - Peter Pan Captain James Hook is a fictional character, the antagonist of J. M. Barrie's play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy.

Captain Hook somehow manages to be hilarious and terrifying at the same time. I mean, he shoots one of his crew members--with the most apathetic expression on his face, mind you--just because he's annoyed by that guy's off-key singing! Comedic from an audience menber's point of view? You bet (at least if they're into dark humor)! But would you like to be that pirate? Probably not. If you'd like another example, just listen to "The Elegant Captain Hook". It perfectly showcases his humorous, charismatic, and frightening sides all at once. He's also smarter than he lets on, as shown by how he succesfully kidnaps Tinkerbell, uses her to find Peter's hideout, and plants a bomb in the hideout as a conniving way of keeping his promise not to lay a hand or hook on him. And how can we overlook his amazing wardrobe?

Also, he's a pirate. I've always had a fascination with pirates.

While Captain James Hook might not look threatening, especially when in the presence of Tick Tock, he can be very cunning, seeing as how he is able to trick Tinker Bell into revealing where Peter Pan's hideout is. He also finds a loophole in the promise that he made. A great villain must be both threatening and comical, and Captain Hook does a great job at both. - c0mf0rta61ynum6

He at least deserves to be in the top 5s. He is my favourite Disney villain of all time but at least have him be in the top 5s. He is not exactly the most threatening villain but he did kill someone in the first film, and he is actually a lot smarter than people think. Seeing how he was able to manipulate Jane and Tinkerbell into trusting him, only to backstab them later. He is also kind of funny to watch when he meets his fate with the Crocodile and the Octopus. - Daviddv0601

Captain Hook is a great character, a GREAT villain. You definitely have to watch out for people like him. I agree, he is very cunning. And you can't forget that hook for a hand. Can definitely be pretty frightening to some, not me though. - RebeccaN123

15 Mother Gothel - Tangled Mother Gothel is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 50th animated feature film Tangled.

WHAT?! Only number 16?! She is awesome. She has a very slick atmosphere and is clever.

I think Gothel is an amazing villain because not only is she extremely deceptive and probably has one of the most thought out and relatable back stories, she had the most depth. Right down to the part where for a moment, one shining moment, Gothel felt actual concern for Rapunzel. The entire song 'Mother knows Best' isn't just Gothel wanting Rapunzel for herself, but also her concern for Rapunzel. Why else would she point out that Rapunzel was getting chubby when there were cleary much more evil, deceptive things she could've said? And she also had a look of true motherly concern when she found out Rapunzel was missing. Gothel is also very relatable in two ways. One, mankinds desire for eternal life. That is all Gothel wants, eternal life. Everyone has dreamed of it at some point, Gothel just tried to make her dreams come true. And Two, people like Gothel ACTUALLY exist. There are parents who treat their children like that. Sad, but true. Gothel was by far, the best villain.

Why isn't she first? You think that Jafar and that ' Yzma are better than her? She is very deceptive and cunning. Wanting to murder an infant like Maleficent is not better than kidnapping a newborn for only your greed. Malenificent locked up PrincePhillip, while she just murdered Flynn. When she found Rapunzel missing, she worried that without Rapunzel, how'd she become younger, not that Rapunzel could have been in danger. Plus, in her villainous song, she had said cruel things and really brainwashed Rapunzel to fear the outside world.

Plus, instead of thinking about Rapunzel's dream, she looked in the mirror to see if she was aging. Totally the masterpiece in the best movie ever, she must be higher!

Not only does she successfully kidnap a baby princess, she also brainwashes her into thinking she's her mother, keeps her in a tower for 18 years, and stabs her boyfriend prison-style! She is EPIC!

16 Professor Ratigan - The Great Mouse Detective

Why is this movie so underrated? It's my favorite Disney movie and by far has the BEST villain ever! Here are my reasons:
1. Vincent Price
2. Fidget was his henchmen
3. He had the original villain song
4. He came the closest to winning
5. He has the best final battle scene
6. He's hilarious
7. He loves being evil
8. He keeps all of his anger inside until the very end, in which he snaps, and its terrifying
9. He's smart and unpredictable
He just steals the whole movie! - 17nobrien

Ratigan is one of my all-time favorite Disney Villains. He is incredibly underrated and forgotten. He's better than Captain Hook because he could be threatening and humorous at once without being too comedic, which Hook suffered from.

He's just awesome! and he's scary when he went into his rage mode near the end of the movie.

and is it bad that I think Tim Curry would of made a perfect understudy if it wasn't Vincent Price voicing him?

He's charismatic and charming but also psychotic and wicked, making him both likeable and villainous. And Vincent Price... Jesus Vincent Price... WHAT A PERFORMANCE! AS GOOD AS JEREMY IRONS AS SCAR

17 Bellwether - Zootopia

Spoiler alert: She is the "Hans" of Zootopia

Spoiler Alert
She Is The Hidden Main Antagonist

I honestly did not expect her to be the bad one. - Crizz

I like her she was once good now bad

18 Oogie Boogie Man - The Nightmare Before Christmas

Really? Nineteen? Subtract at least ten, and he's in a good spot.

Higher! HIGHER!

he's cool

funny

19 Bill Cipher - Gravity Falls Bill Cipher is a triangular dream demon formerly existent only in the mindscape who wished to gain access to the real world. He has been running amok in Gravity Falls, Oregon since being summoned by Stanford Pines over thirty years ago. He is known for his mysterious demeanor and sadistic humor. He ...read more.

Unlike the rest of the villains, Bill is truly unpredictable and absolutely crazy.

You can easily deduce the intentions, future actions and ultimate fate of Scar, Jafar, Frollo, Hades, Ursula etc. Just by looking at them and hearing them speak for 30 seconds.

Bill is nothing like that. Bill is truly an enigma and it's impossible to truly understand what going on in his head (if he has one).

Good luck guessing Bill's course of action. I've seen all of Gravity falls and honestly I have no idea what Bill will do in the Finale (other than him ultimately losing). This is completely unlike the rest of the top 30 villains, who are so predictable that any teenager can guess the villain's course of action (and by extension entire plot) the moment the conflict starts.

He is really awesome and funny.

He legit better than anyone on this list

Gravity falls season 3

20 Kaa - The Jungle Book

He is my favorite behind Boba Fett.

I love the shape of his head, his gentle and persona and the good work of the movement and structure of his coils. look comfy in the surface of the skin and thick deeper in flesh, like a river in a bug who wrap gently and slowly around you. a great massage muscles

Love that snake trusst in meee.

21 Lady Tremaine - Cinderella

She doesn't have any magical powers or minions, only has control over one person's life. And she manages to squeeze every drop of joy out of it! Amazing!

She turns poor Cinderella into a servant in Cinderella's own home too.

She has that unsettling glare. Creepy... - Daviddv0601

Why below captain hook

22 Davy Jones - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Davy Jones is a fictional villain character in the Pirates of the Caribbean feature film series, who first appears in the second film, Dead Man's Chest and returns in the series' third installment, At World's End.

he was in love and after he could be with his
love she was not there for him

WHAT the? he shouldn't even be a villain, he is actually not cruel how you think it, he had a bad life and I'm actually glad what he tried to do to Jack Sparrow, Jack didn't keep a promise so yes, that's why he is like that, I really like him so he inspired me making him a daughter and making me write a book series called "Pirates of the Dark Seas" and it's about the Pirates of the Caribbean Characters' daughters

I love him he is my FAVORITE Disney villain but my second is Ursula Davy Jones kills the ones that try to kill him he also has a bad life too.

he just freaks me out with his nasty beard!

23 Dr. Doofenshmirtz - Phineas and Ferb

IN the end of season 4, he turns good. - WorldPuncher47592834

Why no one ever mentioned this guy? He is the mist hilarious of them all! He is so funny and so original. Oh and I really digs his songs. He should be on top of this list by the way. Nothing can be compared to Doof

Your kidding me! He's before the evil queen! Don't get me wrong he's awesome, but he's not even evil! He shouldn't even be on this list! He's just a guy who is trying to take over the tri state area with a bunch of inators, that turn people into llamas and deflate bagpipes! His inators always fail miserably! He's actually a really nice guy, who just had a really bad childhood. That's all. He doesn't come close to any real Disney villain!

He's the only one to have his own evil jingle. Enough said.

24 Syndrome - The Incredibles Syndrome (born as Buddy Pine) is the primary antagonist in The Incredibles. He wanted to be super like the others, even though he had no powers. He was Mr. Incredible's #1 fan, and dubbed himself "Incrediboy," but he was rejected by Mr. Incredible. Angered after being refused, he developed an evil plan ...read more.

36... he deserves better, has the motive, the hair and the right amount of humour. By far one of Disney's best villains

He has AWESOME hair.

Best story

He is so cool love that hair wow 😍

25 Shan Yu - Mulan Shan Yu is the main antagonist of Disney's 1998 animated feature film, Mulan. He is the evil leader of the Hun Army.

He should be higher he is the most murderous villain I have ever experienced I felt so bad for that little girl

He's not exactly the best, but he's really evil. He's implied to have killed a kid!

Murdered a little girl, sought to murder the entirety of China... Don't get much eviler than that!

has to be number 1 he's like a chinese hitler - decorulez97

26 Mad Madam Mim - The Sword In The Stone

She is os funny! Her and yzma are so cool

DID I SAY NO PURPLE DRAGONS!? DID I?!

27 Lotso - Toy Story 3

Lotso is absulute evil he betrayed woody and buzz and tortured his friends
but at least he gets defeated at the end.

Lotso really fooled everyone by pretending to be this lovable teddy bear and as soon as the day is over he reveals himself to be a selfish and power hungry dictator. - egnomac

Lotso fooled woody by pretending as if he turned over a new leaf.EVIL

Disney's version of Joseph Stalin.
He should be one of the evilest Disney villains.

28 Prince John - Robin Hood

One of those few underrated villains. I seriously used to love him as a kid. He was hilarious. While in the original story, Prince John is actually brave and goes head on against Robin Hood, this one is cowardly and this personality has been used in many spoofs or adaptions of Robin Hood since. He may not be in my top 10 favourites, but I still respect him and allows him to be in my top 20. - Daviddv0601

Definitely one of the best Disney Villains! He seems a bit like Scar, but never gets the love he deserves while Scar prances around with his fans. Prince John = Every bit as good as Scar!

Squeeze every last drop from those insolent, musical peasants!

29 Zira - The Lion King II: Simba's Pride

I like the lion King 2 simba's pride even though I never watched it

This is the better nongay scar. Just compare their songs. Which sounds cooler? This one. Instead of heyenas she has lionesses which are arguably tougher. And she's not out for power. Its death and revenge for her. Awesome. - q1q1q1q1q1

Zira should be the number one villain in my opinion. She is ruthless, bloodthirsty, and vengeful. Those are the perfect characteristics of a Disney villain.

She reminds me of Mapleshade from Warrior cats - RoseWeasley

30 The Horned King - The Black Cauldron

The Skeletor of Disney.

The Horned King is my favorite villain because he is the scariest one I've ever seen. I think he looks better in the movie than he did in the book. I also liked his scary voice.

He has got to be the scariest Disney Villain next to Oogy Boogie and Chernabog

Scary villain he's in my top 10 Disney villains at 8th place

31 Queen of Hearts - Alice in Wonderland The Queen of Hearts is a character from the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by the writer and mathematician Lewis Carroll.

Your head first! This time, you’ve gone too far!

Oh yes. She loves chopping people's heads off. You really wouldn't want to piss her off. - Daviddv0601

OFF WITH YOUR HEADS!
Played the Queen in a school play.
Said that line (or something like it) 18 times in 3 minutes. Yup.

32 Clayton - Tarzan

For me, he is an improved Ratigan, he is a brute and a savage who is trying to hide under good manners and refined features, capable of to be really chivalrous and seductive with his gentleman attitude. Also he is a realistic villain.

His death was scary and I hate him otherwise, so yeah

33 Sheriff of Nottingham - Robin Hood
34 Bill Sykes - Oliver and Company

I think Bill is too easily forgotten his knuckle crack is scary...

35 Edgar Balthazar - The Aristocats

More like worst villain ever.

The funniest Disney villain EVER!

36 Darth Vader - The Empire Strikes Back Darth Vader was the original dark lord for Star Wars. Darth Vader ruled with both fear and aggression. Originally Anakin Skywalker a young Jedi who was then seduced by the dark side of the force by Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious. Only one worthy to be on the list

Interesting to know that he became a Disney Villain. He's the best villain general. Don't get me wrong. But he's...never mind. He's still awesome.

AWESOME! - Heliogabalus

37 The Hyenas - The Lion King

Well obviously there evil, but they were sent to kill him by Scar, who would probably kill them if they hadn't killed his brother! There like the castle guards in the Wizard of Oz.

They were the only characters that I really cared about in the first movie and I get why they are the way they are, they forced to live in an unlivable place where it’s a wonder how they’re able to survive while the lions live in luxury and boast about they’re whole circle of life and how all creatures are connected and have a part in it, but hypocritically say the hyenas don’t, why do the lions hate them anyway. The whole film was really one-sided with them.

38 The Duke of Weselton - Frozen

Honestly, he was not that much of a villain. He was just scared in his defense.

The best Disney character ever! - trsryryryry

No mulan is the best disney character ever she's clever

39 Randall Boggs - Monsters, Inc Randall Boggs is a Pixar villain from both Monsters Inc and its prequel, Monsters University. He is voiced by Steve Buscemi, and has a reptilian appearance, with purple and blue scales and green eyes.

Great villain but he is made worst by monsters university

He is an unexpected trickster. Love Randal

40 Honest John and Gideon - Pinocchio

I like them. Honest John is crafty, yet kinda classy and Giddy is almost as funny as Dopey (who definitely served as his inspiration. )

... And Gideon is a very clever name for the cat.

Honest John's name is ironic because he's the total opposite of honest. But still cool.

41 Judge Doom - Who Framed Roger Rabbit

When he killed that cute little toon shoe though...

Oh yeah... *puts on sunglasses*

Just go watch it...

You'll understand his beauty

42 Ratigan - The Great Mouse Detective

Why is he here twice? He’s already mentioned at number 16!

He is my favorite villain even if he lose his temper he is awesome

43 Man - Bambi

man is human so wait yea villains they go hunting worst thing in the world!

The scariest part. He is never seen on-screen. His true motives remain a mystery which makes him more complex and scary. Let's even think that he set a whole forest in fire and he shown no remorse for almost killing a fawn.

The reason? He's a hunter.

The only one who even killed anybody.

44 Captain Gantu - Lilo & Stitch Captain Gantu is a humanoid alien resembling a fish from the movie and spinoff series Lilo and Stitch. In the movie, Gantu is the captain of the Galactic Armada. He is the best because he is in the stitch movie and shows, any movie that has stitch is the best.

This one is the best

45 Dr. Reginald Bushroot - Darkwing Duck
46 Clu - Tron Legacy

He murdered thousands of programs and came out in one of the coolest disney movies ever!

47 Janja - The Lion Guard Janja is the main antagonist of the first season and later became one of the three secondary antagonists (behind Scar) of the second season of Disney Junior animated series The Lion Guard.
48 King Candy/Turbo - Wreck-It Ralph

Best (and scariest! ) Disney villain of all time! At first it's like "oh this guys clearly evil oki" Then, he fools Ralph (and you! ) which is pretty darn heartbreaking. Then when he's revealed as Turbo, it all works really well! The plan was nearly perfect, and there is just enough buildup for you to suspect him, but not really. 10/10 would rant again

This movie was one of the few movies to do a twist villain right (looking at you, Frozen.) The reason it works is that we actually get time to see the villain side of him (Zootipia,) and it was mainly an identity reveal at the end. Plus, he can be hilarious.

I love him, but why isn't he higher?

This guys should be in the top 10

49 Hopper - A Bug's Life

I love hopper and he should be way higher on this list of villains. "Are you saying I'm stupid? Do I LOOK stupid to you!? Let's just think about the logic for a second, let's just think about it. I it was up there should I be coming down here to your level LOOKING for it!? " My fave line of his! So yeah he should be much higher up on this list. :-)

Hopper was a right villan and a right greedy pig!

HOW IS HE NEVER 1ST!

50 Ronno - Bambi II

Ronno is my 3rd favorite villain then rat and chernabog
