Manchester City, coming off a historically dominant season, has continued to dominate the Premier League, aiming for a fourth straight Premier League win. They have also started off strong in the Champions League, sweeping their group in the group stage. They are currently still alive in the FA Cup and look to be on a good pace to win that as well. Real Madrid, another perennial power in world football, has dominated Spanish and world football so far this season. They raced out to a sweep in their Champions League group in the group stage. After losing La Liga to Barcelona last season, they are back at the top, outperforming all of their Spanish opponents to this point in the season. Ancelotti and Real Madrid have a real shot to win the Champions League and La Liga this season.

Liverpool

Liverpool, in the last season with Jurgen Klopp as manager, looks to end his tenure on a high note. They currently sit in first place in the Premier League with a fantastic start to the season under their belt. Having won the EFL Cup already this season, they finished first in their Europa League group stage and moved on to the round of 16. Liverpool hopes to win the Europa League title to finish the season off.

Bayer Leverkusen

After losing in the Champions League final to Man City last season, they have drastically improved. They moved on from the Champions League group stage to the round of 16, where they hope to capitalize on the hot run of form they have been on.
