But after joining Chelsea FC, Fernando Torres' progress instantly declined. Despite winning the UEFA Champions League in 2012 and UEFA Europa league in 2013 with Chelsea FC, he was still a terrible player for the club. After having a successful time at Aston Villa FC and earning himself a reputation of a tough man who can score lots of goals, Liverpool FC were interested in him and paid £30 million for the Belgian man. At first, Benteke was scoring quite a few goals and even got a few wonder goals but his progress soon declined dramatically. He soon ended up just becoming a bench warmer and he eventually got sold to Crystal Palace FC for £30 million and he still plays for them now. So at least Liverpool FC got all their money back.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be a world class pure but his career isn't perfect. After having quite a successful time at Inter Milan FC, Ibrahimovic joined FC Barcelona for £46 million but the transfer was a bit of a disaster. He didn't get much playing time and with good reason because, at the time, at FC Barcelona there were the likes Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry, David Villa, Pedro, Bojan and more, there wasn't really going to be much room for zlatan Ibrahimovic too. When he did play, he was quite disappointing and he was eventually sold to AC Milan. Since then, he has also played for P.S.G FC and Manchester United FC.

When Illarramendi moved to Real Madrid FC for £32 million in 2013, he was meant to be a big signing for the club that would play along the likes of Gareth Bale and Isco. But he was a bit of a disaster at Real Madrid FC. He didn't get much playing time because of the likes of Gareth Bale, Isco, Mesut Özil and Ángel Di Maria. When he did play, he was very disappointing and hence why he was just a bench warmer for most of his time at Real Madrid FC. After a very successful time at German club Borussia Dortmund FC, he was bought by their rivals FC Bayern Munich in 2014 for £37 million, to replace Toni Kroos, and he was set to be a huge player at the German club. He spent two years at the German club and in that time he won two Bundesliga titles as well as the FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014 with the Germany national team. But he was never really a first team regular at FC Bayern Munich because of the likes of Thiago Alcantara, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Xabi Alonso. After spending two quite unsuccessful years at FC Bayern Munich, he was returned to his former club Borussia Dortmund FC in 2016 and he still pays for them now.
After an average season at French club AS Monaco, Radamel Falcao went on loan to Manchester United FC in 2014 with a possible future transfer fee of £50 million. But he was just a disaster at Manchester United FC. He spent most of his time there just sitting on the sub bench and with good reason because when he did play, he just couldn't find the back of the net. Manchester United FC ended up paying no transfer fee for Radamel Falcao and the Colombian man only spent one season there. After that, he was soon bought by Chelsea FC in 2015 and he only spent one season there too. In 2016, he returned to AS Monaco and he still plays there today and he has regained some of his good form since then.
Retired manager Sir Alex Ferguson is known as a legend at Manchester United FC and he doesn't make many mistakes but when he does, there certainly big mistakes.
