The Top Ten
Cristiano Ronaldo Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro (born 5 February 1985) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Serie A club Juventus and captains the Portugal national team.

Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo always goes to the well and pulls Real Madrid out of trouble. His great shooting ability, one of the best free-kick techniques, dancing and mesmerizing feet, the physique of a perfect athlete, the ability to jump higher than an average basketball player, and a bullet header make Ronaldo a vital, crucial, and important player for Real Madrid.

He has lost a bit of his dribbling and free-kick ability, but everyone knows he's going to work harder to produce better results for the team and for individual awards. Manchester United made Ronaldo a complete attacker, and Real Madrid made him a complete athlete.

Zinedine Zidane Zinedine Yazid Zidane, nicknamed "Zizou", (born 23 June 1972) is a is a French former professional football player who played as an attacking midfielder. He received many individual accolades as a player, including being named FIFA World Player of the Year in 1998, 2000 and 2003, and winning the 1998... read more

His technique was the best in the world, maybe the best in football's history, and his skills with the ball, control of the ball, and his vision and understanding of the game were on another level. He was not especially fast, but he was strong, his body balance was great, and his finishing was great with both feet.

The best all-rounder ever.

The greatest player of all time, the goals that he scored were some of the best that I have ever seen, like when he scored against Bayer 04 in the Champions League final 2002. Also, his skills and his passes created goals not only for him but for his teammates.

I don't see how Cristiano Ronaldo can be the greatest Real Madrid player because he has never inspired his country to a World Cup. Zinedine Zidane did.

David Beckham David Robert Joseph Beckham is (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president & co-owner of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City.. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national... read more

Many are envious and jealous of Beckham's life, and they hate and diss him for it, but let's be honest. The player is awesome! He might not have incredible pace or speed, but he always did his job well enough to leave the clubs he played for as a proud champion. Not many players can do that!

People have this wrong theory that Beckham was of no use at Real. He was one of the club's key players.

He was always overrated. Not a team player, maybe a few long shots at the goal.

Raúl

Certainly not the best player that has been seen at Real Madrid, but my vote goes to him due to the fact that he pretty much symbolizes them. A legend of Spanish football.

There has been no other player to wear the Galacticos jersey who deserves a stand at the Bernabéu as well as a retired no. 7 jersey more than this legend. He's the best striker I've ever witnessed. Killer instinct and all. I don't respect any other player more than Raúl.

The name of the team should be called Raúl Madrid.
-PROF-

Raúl González is the best Madridista that has ever played football. Best Spanish player! Best striker! Love you, Raúl!

Luka Modrić Luka Modrić is a Croatian footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Croatia national team.

He is one of the greatest playmakers of all time. Why? Because he has everything you need from a central midfielder. He is a hard worker in both attack and defense. His vision on the pitch is the most amazing attribute about Luka.

Without his intelligence, Ronaldo and Bale wouldn't make their goal chances if it weren't for Luka. He is also one of Real Madrid's most important players, having played a big role in Los Blancos' Champions League titles.

He is the best of all time! Watch the videos on YouTube called '10 Best Luka Modric Tricks!' My favorite player. Good luck with the league ahead of you, Real Madrid!

Alfredo Di Stéfano

Nobody else on this list compares to Di Stéfano. Look at his achievements: 8 League Titles and 5 European Cups. Say no more. David Beckham achieved nothing with Real Madrid. He should have stayed with Man Utd. Di Stéfano is not just a Real Madrid legend but a soccer legend! One of the greats!

8 League Titles, 5 European Cups, and 1 Copa America. Real Madrid's best player ever and has the most silverware in Madrid. Only Messi can beat his number of cups. Way better than Penaldo. Ronaldo is declining and is going to retire soon.

Iker Casillas Iker Casillas Fernández is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Popularly dubbed "San Iker" for his ability to produce spectacular saves, Casillas is widely regarded to be one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.

He is too low! He deserves to be 2nd. He was maybe even the world's best goalkeeper at his prime. A pure diamond in the hands of Real Madrid, he was the value to not lose any tricky matches. A true Real player, a true goalkeeper, and a hero with a lot of heart put into any of his efforts regarding football matches.

I'm not only aware.

He's the core of my Madridismo heart. He's the one who got me into football, into the Spanish national team, and into Real Madrid. He's the heart and soul of the team. He literally dedicated his entire life to this team. Through the highest highs and the worst lows, he's always there.

Others come and go, but he remains. And he took Raúl's role as the team captain really well. I love Iker Casillas so much, I can't even begin to explain why! Hala capitán! Hala Casillas! Hala Madrid!

Roberto Carlos Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha (born 10 April 1973), commonly known as Roberto Carlos, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who now works as a football ambassador. He is the best player in the world. His amazing skill and shots on goal.

Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, commonly known as Ronaldo, is a Brazilian business owner, president of La Liga club Real Valladolid, and a retired professional footballer who played as a striker. Popularly dubbed in Portuguese O Fenômeno ("The Phenomenon"), he is widely considered one of the greatest... read more

All 10 players here are amazing, but Ronaldo Nazário is the best and an all-time favorite among all. The most important thing is whenever he played, it was a one-man show. He could score from nothing with unbelievable skill, technique, speed, and ability to score. He is the real Phenomenon.

Even the great Pelé said, Ronaldo is the best. You cannot compare him to anyone in football. If anyone has a doubt, then go see all these 10 players' match videos. Only then can you understand. He is a TRUE living legend.

How is it that Ronaldo is ranked over Zidane in the 'Best Footballer of All Time' thread, while he is under him here? Don't get me wrong, Zidane was a brilliant footballer, but Ronaldo was RONALDO!

Ruud van Nistelrooy

The Newcomers

? Kaká Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, commonly known as Kaká or Ricardo Kaká, is a retired Brazilian professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder for Orlando City SC in Major League Soccer and the Brazil national team .

He had great skills during his time in Milan, but since he came to Los Merengues, his playing style has changed. He can't perform many movements like in Milan.

But, I was a great fan of Kaká, so I will keep supporting him! Hala Madrid! Hala Kaká!

He is a very big inspiration for me, and he will always be the king. He should be given more opportunities at Madrid.

Heaven has blessed Real Madrid with one of the best players of the 20th century.

The Contenders
Sergio Ramos Sergio Ramos García is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Real Madrid and the Spain national football team.

The best center-back in the game right now! Quick to win the hearts of Madrid fans due to his passion to fight for the jersey.

Plays very well. Defense is almost perfect! No doubt, he is the best defender in the history of Real Madrid.

Passion, spirit, amazing skills. Simply the best!

Gareth Bale Gareth Frank Bale is a retired Welsh professional footballer who played as a winger for English club Tottenham Hotspur and the Wales national team.

Deserves to be in the top 10. Won 2 Champions Leagues in 3 years, scored and assisted in both matches, and scored the winner in the Copa del Rey.

Proved himself better than Benzema and took Wales to the quarter-finals.

Gareth Bale is my favorite player, and I think he should be at least 14th, although he hasn't made an impact at Real Madrid like Neymar. In the Barclays, it was easier, but in La Liga, it's harder because Spain only takes good players.

Bale should be in a higher place than 17. Anyway, he's the newest Real Madrid player, but he's still amazing!

Ferenc Puskas Ferenc Puskás (1 April 1927 – 17 November 2006) was a Hungarian footballer and manager, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and the sport's first international superstar. He scored 84 goals in 85 international matches for Hungary, played four international matches for Spain... read more

Probably the most underrated player ever in the history of this game. Puskas's record speaks for itself. A true hero and a legend, and probably the best player ever. Maradona and Pelé are known to us because they have had the limelight from the media since the beginning, and that is why names like Di Stefano and Puskas aren't household names.

I will request people to check Puskas's track record.

I'm giving my vote to Puskas. He doesn't deserve to be down as far as this. He's a legend and was a fine player in his time, decorated in silverware from all over the world.

Ronaldo deservedly is at the top, no doubt.

Mesut Özil Mesut Özil is a German professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe. Nicknamed "The Assist King", Özil is known for his technical skills, creativity, agility, and finesse.

He is responsible for or involved with every goal Real scores. A Scholes-like figure, always has an idea when he gets the ball.

Football with brains is supposed to be like this. He has the perfect touch.

If you summed up Real Madrid's midfield in one word, that word would be Özil.

Luís Figo

Great team player, I think. He and Zidane controlled the midfield offensively beautifully. A stable player, simple and direct. Yet, I think he's much greater than Beckham (which is a joke. He only made it worse. It was all business). Figo didn't have those celebrity needs, like Cristiano Ronaldo has.

I am a big fan of him.

Perhaps not the best right winger of all time when it comes to pace and dribbles, but he fulfills all the needs with his technique and unique crosses.

An icon in football, captain of the golden generation, and my first inspiration to love football.

Karim Benzema Karim Mostafa Benzema is a French professional footballer of Algerian descent who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and the France national team as a striker.

One thing I love about Real Madrid is that they don't allow only one player to monopolize the team as a star record holder. Barcelona should learn from Bayern, Real, and PSG. They've allowed Messi to be their everything with no competition. We initially thought Suárez would do something, but he didn't last.

Benzema, on the other hand, has worked so hard that he has at least taken Ronaldo's spot as the highest assist-maker in the team's history.

Woah, you didn't see Benzema coming in 44th place. He should be in the top 20!

Hugo Sanchez Hugo Sánchez Márquez is a retired Mexican professional footballer and manager. A prolific goalscorer known for his spectacular strikes and volleys, Sánchez is widely regarded as Mexico's greatest-ever footballer, and one of the greatest players of his generation.

I see this list starts with the most recent players. It's not my intention to degrade the players, but new generations missed the old times. Real Madrid games were amazing when players like Sánchez made history with this team.

He is tied with Di Stefano with 5 Pichichi Trophies each from the Madrid team, along with 5 Ligas, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 Copa del Rey, 2 Spanish Super Cups, and 1 European Golden Boot. At least he should rank #4 or 5, with Casillas.

People, this is Hugo. Come on now, if you know soccer, you know he is top 5.

Because he is the best striker that Real has ever had, scoring almost 300 goals in 8 years. He is one of the best.

Angel Di Maria
Marcelo Vieira
Toni Kroos Toni Kroos is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Spanish club Real Madrid and the German national team. He plays mainly as a central midfielder, but has also been deployed as a deep-lying playmaker in his career. Known for his vision, passing, creativity, crossing and set-piece... read more

Kroos is such a great and smart player.

Without him, CR7 and Bale can't score!

He is a great player. He sets up amazing attacks that normally lead to goals.

Raphael Varane Raphaël Xavier Varane is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Spanish club Real Madrid and the France national team.He previously played for French club Lens and, ahead of the 2010–11 season, began training with the senior team and appeared on the bench in several league... read more
Raymond Kopa
Fernando Hierro

Hierro was my favorite player back in the day. His passing skills matched those of Pirlo, and his defensive presence was equivalent to that of Thiago Silva.

His leadership skills were impeccable. Top 10 all time in my opinion.

I'm surprised he isn't in the top 10. His leadership, passing skills, and defensive understanding of the game, along with his ability to score a lot of goals (he's the third highest-scoring defender of all time, only behind Passarella and Koeman), mean he has to be in the top ten.

He's a legendary player. I have never seen a player with his dignity and pride.

Gonzalo Higuain Gonzalo Gerardo Higuaín is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a striker for Italian club Juventus.

He is a bomber. You just need to pass the ball in the penalty area, and he is deadly.

James Rodríguez James David Rodríguez Rubio, known as James Rodríguez, is a Colombian professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and captains the Colombia national team as an attacking midfielder or winger.

That is nonsense! James is better than Modric. He deserves to be in the top 15 at least.

James Rodríguez should be in the top 10. He is way better than Modric.
