Top 10 Trade Destinations for Julio Jones in 2021
The Atlanta Falcons have been rumored to trade their star Wide Receiver Julio Jones for a few months now. Jones is a 7 time Pro Bowler. He had just 771 yards and 3 touchdowns last year in 9 games. Despite an injury riddled season and a disappointing outcome in terms of stats, he is still regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL.The Baltimore Ravens are the most rumored destination for Julio Jones, and for good reason. It makes a lot of sense. The Ravens are one talented receiver away from being a legitimate contender, and Jones would fill that hole nicely.
Marquise Brown has been okay, and Rashod Bateman will have to learn the ropes, but Jones would be like a mentor to both and he'd change the entire dynamic of that Ravens offense.
If I had to guess, I'm going with Baltimore as his landing spot.
Indianapolis got Carson Wentz, and they want to rebuild his confidence by any means possible. Wentz has protection and familiarity with Frank Reich, but he could use a consistent target. Julio Jones would be just that.
TY Hilton just isn't as good as he has been. If they bring him in, this could pay off dividends and make Indianapolis a Super Bowl contender even in a loaded AFC.
This would be a great fit. The Colts don't have a true WR1 on their roster. Put him in, and they might have their extra firepower in the passing game.
San Francisco is already a loaded squad. George Kittle and Deebo Samuel are both among the best in the league at their positions. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch wouldn't be afraid to make a move and get someone to make this offense even better.
Julio Jones is quite familiar with Kyle Shanahan and would make life that much easier for Trey Lance.
With what salary cap? We were already the best offense in the NFL last season without Julio, so why would we trade a first for an aging and regressing 32-year-old wide receiver that would screw up our salary cap even more than it already is?
We also have to extend Jaire Alexander and Davante Adams in the near future.
Don't get your hopes up, Packers fans. This isn't likely happening. Thankfully, if they really can't make amends with Aaron Rodgers, they might try to restructure some contracts and bring in Julio Jones to try and win a Super Bowl now in a "Last Dance" type of season.
The Chargers already addressed the offensive line. Now, imagine Justin Herbert throwing to Keenan Allen, Julio Jones, and Mike Williams.
The Chargers are already a team that has some interest as a dark horse on paper, but Julio Jones could be the missing piece to make them that much more potent. They could actually rival the Chiefs for once.
Tennessee lost Corey Davis in the off-season, and AJ Brown can't do it all alone. They could use an elite receiver like Julio Jones to round out the offense.
The Titans' offensive scheme is extremely similar to the Shanahan offense that he's accustomed to in Atlanta, so there's another bonus for the Titans.
Looks like the Titans won the sweepstakes. Julio, AJ Brown, and Derrick Henry. That's a formidable offense now if it wasn't already.
The Patriots made a significant overhaul, bringing in guys like Nelson Agholor, Jonnu Smith, and Hunter Henry. But this receiver core is still pretty average.
Imagine what Julio Jones could add to that receiver core. Maybe they could redeem themselves from the Mohamed Sanu trade, which didn't work out in their favor. Julio Jones brings a level of talent they haven't seen since Randy Moss.
And they want to give Mac Jones all the help he can get to succeed in the NFL.

Washington has a good defense, but the offense isn't as good. They're functional but not anything I would call elite.
Dallas will be better, so if Washington wants to keep up, they need someone like Julio Jones who can change the entire shape of the offense with his presence alone. Washington could be a much scarier team if they can get some better offensive weapons.
Kansas City already has weapons, but that doesn't mean they couldn't pull out some money from thin air and make a deal. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were a Chiefs fan, though.
Sorry, but this is a long shot. Unless they give up something pretty significant, I can't see the Falcons dealing him to the Chiefs. But I'm not ruling it out.
Arizona probably won't make a move for Jones. However, that doesn't mean they aren't a sleeper team to make a surprise move. They kind of came out of nowhere to take JJ Watt. Now, could they do the same here?
Kyler Murray already has DeAndre Hopkins, and they got AJ Green and Rondale Moore. So, this isn't a bad receiver core. I'm assuming Larry Fitzgerald will stick around for another year unless he says otherwise, but imagine what adding Julio Jones would do to this offense.
If DeAndre Hopkins is willing to restructure to bring in Julio Jones, this could be a scary offense that could make the Cardinals a Super Bowl contender.
