Top Ten Stereotypical Southern US Slang Terms
These are phrases that people think everybody in the south say. I'm not country but I admit I say three of theseThe Top Ten
1 Y'all
That's why many of these make Texas sounds like Texas. It might by stereotypical (as cowboys and other things make Texas Texas and there might be other U.S. state use this accent), but Texas is in south.
This always sounds to me like it will precede "gonna die". Particularly with that raunchy accent.
I say this like most people in the south
From Virginia and still say this.

I'm automatically saying all these words in the most hillbilly voice possible... Y'all
