Best NFL Cornerbacks Going Into the 2018 Season

Cornerback is arguably the most important position on defense. If you don’t have good cornerbacks, then you’re somewhat screwed. Who are the players among the best of them? We’re looking at the top ten best NFL cornerbacks going into the 2018 season. B
The Top Ten
1 Jalen Ramsey Jalen Lattrel Ramsey is an American football cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Jaguars fifth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.

He’s the Jaguars future, alongside veteran A.J. Bouye. This defense is really the only thing holding the team together. Ramsey and the Jaguars defense carried them to the AFC championship. Now if offensive play can improve, they can make it to the big game.

2 Patrick Peterson Patrick Peterson is an American football cornerback and return specialist for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.
3 A.J. Bouye
4 Marshon Lattimore
5 Richard Sherman Richard Kevin Sherman is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

This guy is past his prime. Xavier Rhodes should take his spot

6 Casey Hayward
7 Aqib Talib Aqib Talib is an American football cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League.

Nice pickup for the Rams, who went all out in free agency during the offseason. I think he’ll produce just like he did with the Broncos.

8 Marcus Peters

Another addition for the Rams, Peters is now coming together with his former rival to create havoc on defense. Peters and Talib should strike fear into opposing offenses.

9 Xavier Rhodes Xavier Rhodes is an American football cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League.
10 Darius Slay Darius Demetrius Slay, nicknamed "Big Play Slay", is an American football cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League.
The Contenders
11 Josh Norman Joshua R. Norman is an American football cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

2017 was a down year indeed, but I think 2018 will be a year of resurgence in the Redskins defense.
