Reasons to Love Silver the Hedgehog
He can definitely use his powers and he has potential to use them all the way up to the highest level. Give him a lot more powers and varieties to unlock and work with and he will pack loads of powers like never before. Silver knows how to use psychokinesis so if you give him lots of time and training to use them in so many ways he will be able to unlock his full potential so when that happens he would be Shadow's equal like Sonic in terms of how they use there powers to extreme.

SILVER'S TOUGH AND BRAVE. HE'S ALSO MANLY LIKE SHADOW. SILVER IS JUSTICE. HE'S LAW AND ORDER. HE FIGHTS FOR WORLD PEACE AND THAT IS WHAT HE BELIEVE IS RIGHT. SILVER WILL KICK SOME BUTT AND HE WOULD LET NOTHING STAND IN HIS WAY OF VICTORY.

I think Silver is one of the smartest characters (if not the smartest, surely he's on the podium!) in Sonic franchise, because he's aware of very advanced technology that Tails and Eggman can't even imagine ... plus, to use telekinesis you need a considerable mental effort, impossible for mentally limited individuals.
He's one of the smartest sonic characters ever next to Tails and Cream!
