    Seasons 1-3 (pre-movie 1 era): He was just an average character. He cared for his employees and his daughter, though he was a tad greedy.

    Seasons 4-present: Careless, ungrateful, and too greedy! He gets very carried away. He's a selfish, heartless, pushy, no-good liar.

    This is the most degraded character, reaching antagonism.

    The old Mr. Krabs wasn't perfect, but at least he was better than the modern one. I'll admit he was a bit nicer back then. Like in the episode when SpongeBob forgot how to make a Krabby Patty, he let him go home until he remembered.

    He wasn't perfect, but then again, nobody is.
