Top Ten Things You Should Have Done In Your Childhood
I have no idea what you are talking about.
Wow, that's true as well! I did it so many times.
Such a creative and amazing list!
For some reason, ceiling fan blades reminded me of the letter Q as a kid...
As a kid, I stared at the ceiling fan while it was spinning.
Reminds me of the Rugrats episode where Angelica sneaks out and hears Miss Carol say a bad word. She repeats it in front of her mom, and her parents tell her not to say "those words" anymore. Confused, she asks which word is the bad one. Although she doesn't know what the word means, she gets in trouble for saying it again.
This seems unfair since she was just asking a question. Afterward, she apologizes to her parents and promises not to say the word again. Later, during the Miss Carol show, Angelica accidentally says the bad word, leading to a hilarious reaction from the parents. As a result, Miss Carol gets fired for saying a bad word on children's television, and Miss Stephanie takes over the show. That's basically what the episode is about.
I don't think I invented any words as a child, but I can say words no one else has said now.
That's me. I tried to invent words, but they ended up sounding like nothing.
Bookie/booky = OK, what the heck? I don't even know...
I was like 6 or 7 at the time.
The highest number I thought existed was "eleven hundred million billion billion" or something like that.
I think the highest I counted before getting bored was around 3,000.
At school, the teacher would ask you to come to her desk and see how high you could count.
I'm 15, and I do this whenever my hair needs to be trimmed. I don't trust professional hairstylists with my hair since not too many know how to work with emo hair.
I did this when I was 9, except it was my brother's hair. I thought I was being helpful.
I did that in kindergarten, and the teacher yelled at me in front of everyone.
It felt like living in a mansion.
I played it so many times, especially Mario Kart DS.
I really wish I had played MK as a younger kid. I didn't play a single game of Mario Kart until I was 13.
I remember throwing my DS out on the street because I lost a Grand Prix race.
The Newcomers
Anyone else here still do this, or is it just me?
I did this all the time when I was in elementary school. Imagine climbing up the correct way instead of climbing up the slide, lol.
Back when I watched the show "Go, Diego, Go!", Diego had an accent that made the word "toucan" sound completely different from what it actually was. For years, I thought the way he said it was correct, and even now it's still hard to remember the right pronunciation.
I did that once, and then, like an idiot, I tried to shove it down the drain, thinking my grandma wouldn't notice. I was 5, okay?
I am a girl, and when I was 2, I attempted to shave my face and ended up cutting myself.
I did this and was cut so badly I had to go to the ER.
I did this once when I was 3 or 4 years old and still living at my old apartment.
I never liked ice cream cones, so I would throw them away once I finished the ice cream.
I usually pulled them out when they were loose, though I've had 8 removed by either a dentist or an oral surgeon. I had 6 removed on April 8, 2016, for orthodontic reasons, 1 removed in 2017 also for orthodontic reasons, and 1 simply because it was loose when I was getting a crown put on one of my baby molars.
Something strange happened when I woke up with $5 under my pillow unexpectedly when I was only 7. I went to bed with the baby tooth that night, and I guess I must have either swallowed it or my mom pulled it out while I was asleep. Either way, I ended up with 5 dollars that morning.
This reminds me of the 2009 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants "Truth or Square."
This takes me back to when I was in kindergarten and decided to have a water balloon fight with my mom outside. I remember watching Higglytown Heroes afterward.
During a pool party/BBQ in California in June 1997, I had a water balloon fight with my older cousin and completely soaked him. It was fun! I was 5 at the time.
I participated in water balloon fights when I was a kid. It was really fun. I miss those times sometimes.
