Each respects the other's talents and counts on those talents to be brought to bear when necessary. The simplest expression of their equality is in the fact that they take turns saving each other, but it's there in more subtle ways, to sometimes just in the way they look at each other before making decisions.
It's sad seeing them lose Jacen and Ben to the dark side and they watched their son Anakin die. Later on, Jacen dies by Jaina and Ben dies saving Rey.

This ship is part of what really sold me on Star Wars. I had enjoyed the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy, but seeing these two characters on the big screen really was a magical experience. Their dynamic is so different from any other Star Wars romance and, even though they never kissed, I still believe that they are enjoying a fairytale ending somewhere out there after the events of episode 9. The man who wanted to run and the woman who stayed in one place. It is more poetic than people give it credit for.
They both are smart, powerful, intimidating, and ruthless, and they both have good battle tactics.
This couple is 50% smirking and 50% sobbing. On one hand, memes (Anakin making fun of Obi-Wan, KoRkiE iS mY nEpHeW), on the other hand, the pining, the lost time, and the episode The Lawless. It's such a unique ship!

I feel like this would be a hate love relationship. Maul wouldn't be soft but he'll show his love in a different way like protecting her.

Oh my gosh so cute! Boba would run up to her with his tiny little legs and ask for hugs and then they would hold hands!
I love how Mara constantly calls Luke "Farmboy", and how they also always call each other Skywalker and Jade despite being a loving couple.
