Worst Mario Character Fanbases

I'm just so tired of hearing " Mario is the best video game character ever! " and " Mario saved the video game industry! " We get it Nintendo fans, you are all gay for Mario... I really don't get it, Mario isn't such a good character at all. He doesn't have any personality and the only charisma he has is that he smiles all the time. Sure, he gave a new life to gaming, but we are years later and there are so many characters that have been created since then that are far better.

I don't like Mario. I really like Luigi, but I don't like Mario.

are you sure he has been getting a lot of hate because of his fans? I love Luigi. he's awesome. Luigi's one of my favorite Mario characters. I'm also sick of hearing people say that Mario is the best video game character too. I don't get it. Mario isn't a good character for me either. Mario's just bad, Luigi is better, and Luigi is the only good character, not Mario. Luigi is the best Mario character, and so is yoshi. I love Luigi. I don't know why Mario fans hate Luigi on this site. I'm a Mario fan, and I don't hate Luigi. I love Luigi. I wouldn't say Luigi is overrated trash. Mario is overrated trash to me, not Luigi.

The thing with Waluigi fans is that his memes are repetitive and annoying, yes I'm aware that not everyone likes him for the memes, but you can't deny he got a big popularity boost thanks to them, however they pretend it's just a loud minority. As for them antagonizing Daisy fans, yes Daisy fans can be annoying, but at least most of them are aware of that, Waluigi's always wanna blame the toxicity they have to the 2/3 fans who made offensive memes towards Sakurai despite the fact there's others who are just as bad, Daisy fans were trashing them when he was deconfirmed for Ultimate because during discussions about potential fighters, they ALWAYS had to bring back Waluigi with stuff like "he's in the same boat as her but she won't join before him because he's more popular and likeable than annoying Peach". They also have an inferiority complex, they believe he's depressed/self-pity because his voice actor, who's not involved with writing, said so, they also insist, the hate base is big but it exists thanks to their Smash outcry, they also think he should get his own game and insist on that... now, how can he get a game when not even BOWSER has that yet?

Honestly they are not as bad as they used to be, but the thing than bothers me is that Rosalina is the most oversexualized character because of them, she's basically a sex toy in their eyes.

They're completely awful, and interlope with the equally bad minority that's the disgusting Kirby fanbase

This character. This character's fanbase is enough to make me hate her. Normally hating a character for their fanbase is considered petty, but I feel here it's reasonable. Daisy is okay overall, a nice choice in spinoff games. Then, there is her fanbase. I know Daisy is meant to be loud, energetic and spunky, but you don't have to rub it in my face. Like, "YEAH, DAISY! WHO IS THE SPUNKY TOMBOY WE ALL KNOW AN LOVE?! DAISY! " comments like that are just annoying. When I look at Daisy, I see Peach's relative, not a sporty badass.

Yes, tell me about it. As soon as it's confirmed that the Koopalings are no longer Bowser's kids, just his minions, the fanbase through a fuss over it and got into war with each other for no reason. -_- At least I'm a sane Koopaling fan who accepts the fact no matter what.

Nice try. My quote didn't say anything about me being upset that not everyone liked Yoshi. Of course, not everyone's favorite character is Yoshi, otherwise we be living in a boring world. Just saying there's nothing wrong with calling a cute character cute a lot as long as they're not shoving it down people's throats.There's no doubt that there is a lot of annoying Yoshi fans, but some Yoshi fans just simply thought the character is cute and weren't trying to start any trouble with anyone.
