Top Ten Best Things About Winter
It looks like we get to go home early and get to open as many presents as we want on Christmas. My parents usually leave a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa. Last year, I got an SSD, two 4GB RAM sticks, a GTX 1050, a motherboard, a CPU, and a CPU cooler.
I agree that I can't imagine celebrating Christmas in a hot country and having to wear shorts instead of pants.
Winter break is awesome. You get to stay home and play games all day, mostly Minecraft, SimCity 4, and Skyrim.
You get to stay home, have hot chocolate and cookies, and don't have to worry about any single piece of work. It's just peaceful!
I live in Australia, and all of us Aussies have celebrated our Christmas and New Year's in summer.

I feel that being a Canadian, I kind of take this for granted. The whole world seems more civil and peaceful when there's snow on the ground. It really brings people together, especially when they have to shovel the driveway.
A good excuse to sit inside with a 24 of Molsons and watch the Leafs and the Habs on Hockey Night in Canada, eh?
I live in California, so unfortunately, the weather here doesn't allow for there to be any snow unless you live in the mountains. But it would be my dream to play in the snow and build a snowman someday, even if I have to wait until I'm an adult to do so.
That is really neat. You are in the classroom, working on science, and then the electricity goes out. Then an announcement comes out of the speakers, saying that you get to go home early.
It's good until the school district takes away summer/spring break due to too many of these.

That's what I need. I go inside, shivering, and my mom gives me hot chocolate to warm me up. It's great!
It doesn't snow here, but I always enjoy hot chocolate during this time.
The time when I don't have to worry about those insects that sting. I don't mind honeybees. They won't sting you if you're nice to them. But wasps, hornets, and those big bad black bees are just plain scary, and winter protects you from them.
I don't have to always worry about getting stung!
Mosquitoes love my blood, so this is great for me.
I throw pretty hard at times, and I knock down the opponent and I win sometimes. It's fun!
You get to stay home and sleep in a little longer or play games for an hour or two. Neat!
The frost on trees is always nice. It is cool to take photos of the trees with frost.
You are in the snow. You see your girlfriend, or sister, or brother, or whoever, unlock the door. Then you jump out and give them a pretty good scare.
I live in New Mexico, and when we go ice skating, we always go to the one in Albuquerque because that's pretty much the only one we can find. But yeah, it's fun!
I've always loved cold weather and can easily run around without a jacket unless the temperature drops below a certain point.
