This could very well be the number one reason to avoid any fandom haters honestly. The best thing to do is to not listen to them at all. Giving them plenty of reasons to make fun of you more is never a good idea. Mostly because whenever you try to shoot back or say something you might regret, you're literally shooting an arrow in the dark. It has a slight chance of hitting with people, but a massive chance of missing leading to the trolls wanting to feast upon you. Also, don't be just as bad of an a-hole as they are. Because comment wars where people are just being mean to each other back and forth is way more toxic than any bad fans from any fanbase.
