Top 10 YouTubers Who are the Biggest SelloutsAnyone who used to make good content but now make bad content leaving many OG fans disappointed... and even some new ones.
He used to be good. I like his old Minecraft videos and some other gaming videos. Heck, he was even good during his vlogging era. He went downhill around 2017-2018 when several controversies surrounded him that were pretty bad. He started posting lame content too, including memes and ruining LWAIY. When he is not doing that, he debates very controversial topics terribly. Then, in Late 2018/2019, things only got worse in the PewDiePie/T-Series battle when he didn't just make fun of T-Series, he immaturely dissed the entire county of India along with it. He went through March 2019 like a spoiled baby, when the stakes of PDP/TS were at the highest. He made really boring content after the battle. In mid-2020, he started posting good content again, but at the end of 2020, he went back to making terrible videos again.
I miss the old Pokimane (2009-2016). From 2009-2014 she was a very entertaining Twitch streamer who played video games. From 2014-2016 she became a YouTuber and posted very entertaining content there too, including a few funny skits. She was my favorite female YouTuber for a while, plus, I never found her that attractive, so that's good. However, as of 2016, she went viral and simps ruined her channel. From 2016-2017, she still was okay in content, until 2018, she completely sold out when she tried to appeal to simps. Simps are so crazy, that by this point, she has received at the very least tens of thousands of dollars of not more from those idiots. Not she is a simp-obsessed YouTuber who seems to copy paste her Among Us videos while enjoying attention from creeps. At this point, she is even starting to become one of them.
He was a good YouTuber of my tween-teen years. I liked his videos from 2009-2015. Afterwards, he created disgusting characters like Jeffy and is trying to make "funny" videos which are just dumb and gross. Honestly, he's pretty much a sellout. Oh, and a few weeks ago, he privated a lot of his videos from his good era, which is very angering. I just want to take the pencil out of Jeffy's nose and throw him in a lake. I'm joking, but I would do that if I could. I'd do that to Logan too.
Listen to "I miss the old Tommy." He gives you great points there.
If you watch his videos from late 2015-early 2018 they were actually pretty OK.
Ever since Anthony Padilla (the co-founder) left in 2017, the whole channel went completely downhill & is no longer the most popular comedy channel on YouTube. Their videos became boring, repetitive & aren't getting nearly as many views as they used to.
Although she hasn't been on YouTube in the past 5 months, she did state she's releasing a new song & music video. She used to do comedy for the last 3 years & gained a whopping 17.5M+ subscribers at that rate (1 of the fastest ever for a female on YouTube), surpassing Lilly Singh (who's been on YouTube for over 10 years with ~15M subscribers), but ever since she did her own documentary series The Secret Life of Lele Pons, she went downhill & sold her comedy roots though she's doing music now. Now Hannah Stocking (who she used to be together with) used to also do comedy & went past 7.6M subscribers until dating TikToker Ondreaz Lopez (formerly part of the Lopez Brothers) & she started doing several vlogs until December 4th 2020 when she (& he) suddenly just left YouTube without even announcing (which's why she isn't on this list to date).
She did comedy which she loved for years & spent the past 7+ years making comedy videos on YouTube until 2019 when she grew & sold out of her comedy to sell into music. She's still an author & tells stories though.
He used to play COD which was popular in the day and got millions of subs off of it, and even when it wasn't popular, and started to gain slowly, I could tell he still liked what he was doing. Then, he made clickbait Fortnite videos just for popularity
