Babe Ruth once pitched 14 innings in the 1916 World Series when he was with the Red Sox. He would strike out four batters and give up one home run while the Red Sox would win at the time the longest game in World Series history

2 Jack Morris - 1991 World Series Gm 7 vs. Atlanta Braves

In Game 7 of the best World Series ever, Twins' pitcher Jack Morris would pitch all 10 innings of a 1-0 game. This included eight strikeouts and seven hits allowed while Morris would also allow

3 Bob Gibson - 1968 World Series Gm 1 vs. Detroit Tigers

In a season when he would throw a career-low 1.12 ERA, Gibson would dominate the Detroit hitters by striking out a World Series record 17 batters in one game.

4 Don Larsen - 1956 World Series Gm 5 vs. Brooklyn Dodgers

While not a marquee pitcher throughout his career, Larsen would make history by throwing a perfect game against the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1956 World Series.

5 Roy Halladay - 2010 NLDS Gm 1 vs. Cincinnati Reds Harry Leroy Halladay III, often nicknamed "Doc", was an American professional baseball player who pitched in Major League Baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies between 1998 and 2013. His nickname, coined by Toronto Blue Jays announcer Tom Cheek, was a reference to Wild West gunslinger Doc Holliday.

In his first-ever postseason start, the late Roy Halladay would become the second pitcher in history to throw a postseason no-hitter as he would allow one base runner all game long while he dominated.

6 Madison Bumgarner - 2014 World Series Gm 7 vs. Kansas City Royals

7 Justin Verlander - 2017 ALCS vs. New York Yankees Justin Brooks Verlander is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball.

While Verlander had won big elimination games in the postseason for the Tigers, what he did in the 2017 ALCS as an Astro was legendary. In game two, he struck out 13 batters and pitched a complete game to help Houston win. Then, facing elimination in game six, Verlander responded with seven shutout innings leading the Astros to a 7-1 win. He would be rewarded with the ALCS MVP for his performance.

8 Curt Schilling - 2004 ALCS Gm 6 vs. New York Yankees

With Boston rally from 3-0 down, the Red Sox turned to Curt Schilling against the Yankees. While dealing with a bloody sock after surgery on the ankle, Schilling was masterful going seven innings allowing one run and leading the Red Sox to a decisive Game 7, where they would complete the comeback.

9 Pedro Martinez - 1999 ALDS Gm 5 vs. Cleveland Indians Pedro Jaime Martínez, is a Dominican former professional baseball starting pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball from 1992 to 2009, for five teams - most notably the Boston Red Sox from 1998 to 2004.

Dealing with a back injury, and with Boston dealing with a high-scoring affair with the Indians, Martinez came out of the bullpen and pitched six no-hit innings in relief to earn the win and send the Red Sox to the ALDS.

10 Tom Glavine - 1995 World Series Gm 6 vs. Cleveland Indians

With the Braves on the cusp of a title, Glavine would pitch eight innings allowing one hit while preserving a 1-0 lead, in which Atlanta would win the championship with that score.
