Best Tomorrowland Rides Across the Disney Parks

Tomorrowland... my favorite Disneyland...land of all time. Here are the best Tomorrowland Rides across all five Tomorrowlands and the Discoveryland.

NOTE: This only includes rides still operating, sorry Timekeeper...
The Top Ten
1 Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain (Disneyland Paris)

It's Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain nowadays. It's not your average version of Space Mountain, but a mighty thrill ride that lives up to its name. It's reported to be as accurate of a Star Wars-themed ride as you'll ever get. You get a much better feel of jumping into hyperspace and flying through space in a battle on this than you do on Star Tours or Smuggler's Run. Ever taken notes on real-world fighter pilots o n their military jets? That's on Earth, which's nowhere near the speed needed to go into hyperspace., and light still takes over 4.25 years to get to the nearest star. I'd say this still doesn't come close to what a real trip into hyperspace would be like, but it's as close as you're reported to get to it.

2 TRON Lightcycle / Run (Shanghai Disneyland, Walt Disney World)

From what we learned about, it shouldn't even be at a family park like Shanghai Disneyland or Magic Kingdom, which have been known for their family appeal. This ride is on the list of major thrill rides, which include Incredicoaster and Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout (Disney California Adventure Park), Rock 'N' Roller Coaster (Disney's Hollywood Studios), Avengers Flight Force (Walt Disney Studios Park), The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (multiple Disney locations), Expedition Everest (Disney's Animal Kingdom), Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind and Mission Space (Epcot), and Summit Plummet (Disney's Blizzard Beach). From reports, for the bike seats, you ride face forward without head support & are launched forward into the canopy before going into the building where you race for your life on the Grid. Those with certain disabilities or improper body shapes & sizes can ride the chariot seats which are located on the back.

3 Carousel of Progress (Walt Disney World)

It's a timeless classic that lives on & holds nostalgia in everybody's hearts.

4 Space Mountain (Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland)

It's far superior to Magic Kingdom's original attraction per reports. You get a much smoother ride & better special effects. While Magic Kingdom's is known for nostalgia, this's known for quality. Though it doesn't match Paris's for thrills.

5 Star Tours (Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris) Star Tours was a motion simulator attraction at several Disney theme parks, based on the successful Star Wars film series created by George Lucas.

It's not the most thrilling Star Wars attraction, but it's highly immersive & versatile. You get a variety of stories to go through as you feel the motion & get immersed. The biggest problem is the high rate of motion sickness reports. Just heed the warnings before riding.

6 Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover (Walt Disney World)

A nice, relaxing way to chill after a day at Tomorrowland. It's such a shame Disneyland's is gone & Rocket Rods failed to replace it.

7 Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Shanghai Disneyland)

It's highly outdated, but holds a value of nostalgia.

8 Autopia (Disneyland, Disneyland Paris)

Much better than the Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom. It actually immerses you more & is less smelly.

9 Tomorrowland Speedway (Walt Disney World)

It's just a smelly, sluggish, outdated ride that holds no value other than nostalgia.

10 Monsters, Inc. Ride and Go Seek (Tokyo Disneyland)

Too bad Tokyo Disneyland is the only Disney location to have a ride themed to Monsters, Inc.
