Alligator Kills a 2-Year-Old - June 2016
On June 14, 2016, a 2-year-old boy was having fun at the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian Resort until a storm came, and then an alligator showed up and took him alive.
The dad tried to save him, but it was too late. He was fighting the alligator, but the animal got the upper hand, even though the father was doing it for his son.
The boy's name was revealed to be Lane Graves.
What was so shocking about this was that it happened at Disney, also known as the Happiest Place on Earth, and it was the first alligator attack at Disney in almost half a century.
In 2017, Disney built a lighthouse at the spot in honor of Lane Graves.
It was a tragic incident and one we'll never forget.

Toy Story Land Opening Day - June 2018
When it opened, there were long lines forming, including one just to get into the land that took 4 hours.
Then there was the other line, the one just to get on its top attraction, Slinky Dog Dash, and the wait time was 7 hours.
Since it was all outside with no shade, it deserves to be on this list, as everyone was burning in the sun and getting dehydrated, nearly to the point of heatstroke and death. Everyone's feet and shoes were burning on the hot concrete, and a storm in the middle of the day made the experience even more miserable and excruciating.
Knowing the huge crowds were getting burned while waiting in the long, shadeless lines at Toy Story Land shows how poor the setup was. It became a safety hazard, which is a violation of property standards.
Disney failed to make the land fun and instead made it miserable and painful. They really could've made it better, but the budget cut to make way for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge made this opening day a terrible fiasco.
Just wait until Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens. That'll be the biggest total fiasco in amusement and theme park history. It might even rival the biggest of those political rallies and marches, as well as Times Square on New Year's Eve.

Pandora: The World of Avatar Opening Day - May 2017
When Disney opened Pandora at Animal Kingdom, there was a long line that stretched all the way to the entrance. It was half a mile long and all in the blistering 88° heat, with people waiting more than 6 hours, 6 hours just to get into the land.
All of this happened in direct sunlight, so everyone got hot, sweaty, dehydrated and even sunburnt. Later, around noon, the wait to enter settled down to 2 hours, but that still takes a toll.
Once they got into the land, they still had to wait another 7 hours for Flight of Passage and 4 for Na'vi River Journey. We'll never forget the danger that happened on opening day.

Frozen Ever After Opening Day - June 2016
At Epcot, Disney rethemed Maelstrom into Frozen Ever After.
Knowing that this was the first Frozen ride, it was hyped among Frozen fans.
When it opened on June 21, 2016, there was a huge line that wrapped around the World Showcase building several times, and the wait time was five hours. Five hours!
And it's on here because much of the long line to get to the ride was outside in 90° sunny weather, which meant everyone who tried preparing still ended up getting burned and overly sweaty. This led to dehydration and heat exhaustion, which prompted Disney cast members to set up water stations and hand out cold foods to keep guests cool and safe.
It was madness. All of that was for a five-minute ride about Frozen.
So obvious.
