She's literally the best girl in the series. She's very beautiful, and despite being in a rough household, her heart is pure and kind, all the while mischievous and strong. Her character development's magnificent too, and she fights for what she believes in and knows Kirito so well, since their flaws are like puzzle pieces that match. All in all best waifu!

She got many proposals in SAO, and in season 1 episode 8 of Sword Art Online there was a random guy saying, "Isn't that Lightning Flash Asuna from the KOB? " "Yeah, she's really cute."

Shut up to all the people who hate on Asuna. she is pretty, badass when she wants to, a very strong and independent personality, kind, one of the strongest (even Kirito says :))... a very well developed character and SAO would be nothing without her.

Asuna is way cool and prettier than sinon. She is so awesome and I really like her attitude.

She is super hardcore and seems to be very mean but when she is having a good time she smiles with such joy and laughter it makes my heart melt. She's also hilarious when she makes jokes. Another nice thing about Asada is that her character development is really nice as she quickly rose to the main 3 in the anime with Leafa and Asuna. Lastly her character goes through trauma like a some people. In her case it was guns but in the end she slowly overcomes her fear. I hope to see more of Sinon/Shino Asada outside of GGO and more of her in ALO as well as in Alicization.

Both her hair and eyes are blue, She's a sniper, Ironically has a fear of guns despite playing a game with the gun in its name, and even her real life body is attractive.

Asuna is stupidly overrated for her looks. Sinon on the other hand is beautiful in any universe, human or in game. She's not just the most beautiful character in SAO, the most beautiful character in the entire anime universe

Asuna is number one... not very surprising -_- Sinon is SO MUCH more beautiful than her, she has a gorgeous shade and mixture of blue and green, her eyes are pretty, and in the real world she's just as pretty. Brown is such a nice hair color, and I can relate to her a lot about being scared of past things, Sinon 4 2020 president

She's better than any girls in the whole anime series and I don't know why no one appreciates her beauty like for reals. She's mine boys.

Why is Alice so down the list, she just looks amazing with her character design, the elegance and the beauty just combines perfectly with her desgin.

She resembles Saber a lot appearance wise. Their clothings and swords are kind of similar as well.

Hottest SAO girl, hands down about it; she's also energetic, fun, kind and dependable; of course, betteer to not makes her angry but...well, nobody is perfect, after all.

In my point of view, Leafa needed more support and love but she couldn't have it from Kirito, although she's a very pretty and nice young lady.

Yuuki is not only physically beautiful, but she's beautiful on the inside, too. I know that the same could be said for almost all of the others on this list, but Yuuki, at least to me, is the most beautiful of them all.

Hand down the best girl on the entire series, and the strongest female character as well! She can only be rivaled by Sinon on the second. Anyone else are either mediocre or underdeveloped.

Yui is litteraly the definition of cute. She may be a game program but that just goes to show how rare and perfected she is!
