Top 10 Cutest Anime Kids
Anime kids have a dangerous amount of cuteness packed into very small bodies. You get the big eyes, the stubborn little scowls, the snack-stealing energy, and the kind of innocent smile that makes even the grumpiest villain look like they need a juice box and a nap. One minute you are laughing at their chaos, and the next you are emotionally invested in protecting a fictional child with your entire soul.
You will find all kinds of adorable young characters in anime. Some are sweet enough to cause dental problems. Some are tiny troublemakers who treat common sense like an optional side quest. Others carry stories far heavier than their age should allow, which makes their brighter moments feel even more precious.
This list is for the characters who make you pause, grin, worry, cheer, and occasionally question why an animated child has more emotional range than half the adults in the room. Vote for the anime kids you think are the cutest, and prepare yourself. Your heart may not leave this list in one piece.

Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
Okay, so sibling affection comes into play here with number one... The One Piece Trio's Luffy!
They are the perfect combination of brothers - not always fitting in and agreeing, but loving each other anyway. They are goofballs, have freakishly good skills (yeah, Luffy, you too), and are messy eaters! They kinda remind me of myself as a kid. Yeah... good times. Sorry. To me, they seem pretty realistic in their attitudes and actions for cartoon (anime) kids. Oh, and they are strong as all hell!
And they openly pick their boogers (all kids do it, but not all kids admit it). I know I did! Sorry... again! I know it's kinda cheating to do three in one, but YOU CAN'T SEPARATE ASL!

Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
I literally can't say no to Naruto. Who could after all the things he's been through!? He deserves so much love! And he's adorable as a little kid. Yeah, maybe he doesn't have super big eyes and innocence all over him, but I adore him! Maybe it's his bright blond hair and - I'm gonna be honest - beautiful blue eyes that I find so cute, or just his great facial expressions sometimes. He has the best! And he's so dense and stupid sometimes that he just makes me happy and laugh.
P.S. Besides, how many 12-year-olds are as sexy as him? He's got his very own sexy jutsu, people! OK. I'm done.

Sabo (One Piece)
One Piece's Sabo!

And they openly pick their boogers (all kids do it, but not all kids admit it). I know I did! Sorry... again! YOU CAN'T SEPARATE ASL!
(I know it's the same description as the first, but they were supposed to be one item anyway.)

Luka Macken (Black Butler)
Yes, I have put the sweetheart from that dark show Black Butler on the list. But I - I just can't imagine a cuter kid (plus his past affects me big time). And if you all can't feel that attachment to him, Sebastian must have already taken your souls! I think it's everything from his messy clothes and hair to his complete devotion to his brother that really gets me and says, Listen up, this kid is really something! Got it?
I'm sorry... I need a tissue...

Portgas D. Ace (One Piece)
One Piece's Ace!
They are the perfect combination of brothers - not always fitting in and agreeing, but loving each other anyway. They are goofballs, have freakishly good skills (yeah, Luffy, you too), and are messy eaters! They kinda remind me of myself as a kid. Yeah... good times. Sorry. And they openly pick their boogers (all kids do it, but not all kids admit it). I know I did! Sorry... again! YOU CAN'T SEPARATE ASL!
(I love One Piece, so...)

Madoka Kaname (Puella Magi Madoka Magica)
Madoka Kaname is the main character of the 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She is depicted as a kind and selfless middle school student who becomes a magical girl. Madoka's choices and development are central to the series and its related media.
She sleeps with stuffed animals and seems to really like animals because, in the 100 questions, she said that she likes anything small and fluffy. She wears pigtails, which are more suited for little girls than for teenagers, but she still looks cute in them. Her pigtails are held together by two red ribbons, and in her magical girl outfit, she has two giant pink bows to hold them together. Her color theme is pink, which is the softest color.
As a girl, she does act shy sometimes, which is quite cute. But if she were a boy, that would just be annoying, so it's a good thing she is a girl. She is a good girl too. If she were male, I would think that she would be a rebel as her counterpart.

Alois Trancy (Black Butler)
Earl Alois Trancy (Japanese: アロイス・トランシー, Aroisu Toranshi) is the main antagonist of Season 2 of the anime series Black Butler. He is the head of the Trancy household and plays a central role in the storyline. His real name is Jim Macken (Japanese: ジム・マッケン, Jimu Makken).
One without the other means nothing to me. Nothing to me.
And who can't like little Alois? He cares for his brother, has sass, a great crazed smile, and a general psychoticness that draws me to him. Besides, he can rock booty shorts when he's older! Sorry!
And like I said with Naruto, I like his light hair and icy eyes. I want to squeeze and pucker up his face before hugging him! That picture of him and his brother making faces is the best! They're so precious. They need to be protected from their world. Not to mention, his story affects me too...
Tears up again...

Son Goku (Dragon Ball)
No neck, innocent personality, chubby cheeks, spiky hair, irresistible naivety, ever-growing power and courage. What's more could you want?
What an innocent, loving child. Although Goku doesn't really make a good father (irrelevant comment here lol), as a child, he's simply cheerful, kind, and adorable!

Kousei Arima (Your Lie in April)
I find this to be one of the saddest anime I've watched, but it still features several kawaii kids, including Kousei, the main character and piano prodigy. This is my favorite style of animation in the world because it is so colorful and beautiful, creating unforgettable characters. I've added younger Kousei to the list as a result. His face is so rounded and chubby as a child, and he has very spectacular blue eyes that match his neat black hair. His thick black glasses push his cuteness over the edge, and I love his peachy little-kid blush that's only slightly noticeable. But maybe it's just because this is my favorite anime that I find him so cute.

Aladdin (Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic)
Yep, that ten-year-old Magi who's a little perverted and dense. But he's still super cute. I don't know if it's his matching long blue hair and eyes or cute chibi wha? faces, but I had to add him. He's like my mega favorite character from the show.
He has neat Arabian-style clothes too, and I think that they add to his cuteness, like his turban and little vest. He has, like I said, kawaii big blue eyes, which are sometimes light or dark, cares for his friends, and is generally a nice kid to people who deserve it.
Honorable mentions: Young Ciel, young Crona from Soul Eater, young Rin and Yukio from Blue Exorcist, Sasuke and Itachi, Kyo, Inuyasha, Gilbert Nightray, Chibi Romano, the Free! boys when they were younger, the Uta no Prince Sama boys when they were younger, the Starry Sky characters that were shown as kids, and Loki, Thor, and Balder from Kamigami no Asobi, and Al. He was supposed to be with Ed, but eh. Bye, lovelies.

Natsu Dragneel (Fairy Tail)
Natsu Dragneel is a Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild. He is known for his carefree and reckless nature, and while he frequently gets into brawls with other guild members, he is deeply loyal and protective of his friends.

OK, another famous anime hero... Natsu! The adorable hardhead who can even rock pink hair as a boy! Like Luffy, he's funny and kinda dorky and dense, but that's why we love him, right?
One thing I love in an anime character besides their personality is their smile, and the small fangs that accompany Natsu's grin are just perfect. He has a great personality too! Plus, his blushes match his spiky pink hair. I find it cute the way his face dips into his scarf. Does anyone else want to share Natsu's scarf with him? And he gets pretty hot when he's older. See what I did with the whole hot and fire dragon slayer thing... uh. Yeah.

Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Yes, I got Ed here. I'm getting kinda tired and gotta hurry this up, so I'm just gonna say that I've always found Ed and Al adorable. They spiked my interest from the very beginning, but I can't even tell what drew me to them. Perhaps it was the blonde hair (I always liked the way Ed's hair is parted too), golden eyes, and the brotherly bond that came with them that I find so cute. I just found them cute and worthy of the list.
Yes! Ed-kid (and Al-kid, don't forget him!) is adorable! I don't know what else to say.

Ushio Okazaki (Clannad)
