Top Ten Figures of the Indian Independence Movement

Covering an eventful period of nearly two centuries, a scattered war was waged by India against the British, which began with the English victory in Plassey in 1757. Since then had been rebellions against the cruelty and unfairness of British tyranny in the Indian subcontinent. Soon great battles were fought, immortal personalities emerged, extreme events occured, innumerable were killed or injured or involved in this amazing Revolution - all in the name of freedom, which finally was begotten in 1947.

My take on the most effective leaders of the movement.
The Top Ten
1 Bhagat Singh Bhagat Singh was an Indian revolutionary socialist who was influential in the Indian independence movement. He is often referred to as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the word "Shaheed" meaning "martyr" in a number of Indian languages. ...read more.

Sardar Bhagat Singh Ji was undisputedly the greatest of all the freedom fighters. It really takes a great courage to lay one's life for the cause of the country and countrymen at that young age.
He deserves more credit for the contribution he rendered, to getting India freedom, than others. It is only and only Sardar Bhagat Singh who we can look to get motivation and inspiration to drive India forward if at all the youth has to play their role in the progress of the nation. I wonder if I could find a youth these days "who could lend his other cheek to be slapped if he gets slapped on his one cheek." Such ideology can not work against our enemies on our borders.
Sardar Bhagat Singh Ji we are proud of you. A salute from the core of heart to you and your martyrdom...

He is legend

Gandhi, what he did for India. The answer is nothing
He was imprisoned in such a jail that he had facility to write a diary while Bhagat Singh, seriously worst life.

Gandhi went to jail. Seriously, jail or lodge. After death, please ask Veer Savarkar, that in which kind of jail was he there. Gandhi got good tratment while Savarkar was Tortured, treated worse than animals.

Peace, Peace, Peace. Nothing else
Everyone should remember that it was the WW2 which brought our Independence, not the useless strikes by Gandhi.'
It was Parliament bombing done by Bhagat Singh and Netaji's escape to Germany from which british empire feared, not the dandi march.
It was Bhagat Singh's death which boosted Nationalism and Patriotism in people's mind, not Gandhi's movements.
most importantly - -
It is Gandhi and Nehru who made India weak, not the RSS and Savarkar

I mean no one supported him neither Gandhi nor anyone to his movement he was removed from Indian congress but he made alliance with Japan and Germany to make India free from British rule he founded Indian national army and hired Indians to fight against British rule. In my sense all are great who fought for my country but I like Bose He was really a dynamic personality

No other leader can be equal to him for the cause of Indian Independence. Gandhiji can come closer, whereas neither superior nor equal.
