Jones had a career game against the Dolphins, with 15 rushes for 145 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 27 receiving yards. His biggest play of the day was a huge 67 yard rush that put the Packers inside the 5 yard line that set up one of Jones’ touchdowns. He’s one of the most underrated running backs in the NFL.
The source of Green Bay’s other two touchdowns not scored by Aaron Jones, Adams has now pushed his touchdown total this season to 9. He’s nearing his career high 12 touchdowns in 2016.
Quite an unknown before today, but after Kentrell Brice went down with an ankle injury, Greene got more playing time. He definitely capitalized on it. The rookie UDFA safety fared relatively well in coverage, got his first career sack, and returned a fake punt over 30 yards. Very good showing for the young safety.
Breeland didn’t quite have a good game against New England, but the newly acquired cornerback had a great game against the Dolphins. He wasn’t too shabby with his kick returns, and got his first career interception with the Packers.
Clark continues his breakout season and is nearing possibly a pro bowl. Clark had yet another sack, and constantly pressured Brock Osweiler, contributing to Green Bay’s six sacks against the Dolphins.
Gilbert, who has been quiet the whole season, came out of his shell. He recovered a botched snap early in the first quarter, and got his first sack of the season late in the 4th. Can he keep this type of play up?
Alexander continues his stellar rookie season with his tight coverage and consistent tackling. He has brought new life to this defense.
Who knew us fans wanted Fackrell out of Green Bay before the season started. Currently, he is tied with Kenny Clark for the team lead in sacks, which they both have five. Somehow, Fackrell has been Green Bay’s best edge rusher this season, getting his fifth sack of the season against the Dolphins.
In the absence of Muhammad Wilkerson, Lowry has been very consistent and solid, also garnering his first sack of 2018.
