Top Ten The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Songs

The Top Ten
1 Breath of the Wild Main Theme

Absolutely amazing in every way. and is also very similar to dark beast ganon theme. to me these two songs are the best two songs in the game in terms of the climax. (other than the story trailer theme)

The song that started the whole game... Wow, it's good!

Have many instrument mixed perfectly

Best Music in the entire game.

2 Divine Beast Vah Medoh (All Terminals Active)

Oh yeah broski!

A masterpiece. that’s the tea

3 Rito Village

Lovin' dat Dragon Roost Island remix, boi! (My soul just dyed while writing that sentence a little bit.)

This and Break Free (Lead the Way) are the two best songs Nintendo has ever written.

This is definitely the best song in botw for sure!

This is the best ballady song from BoTZ.

4 Kakariko Village

I like the whole traditional Japanese take on the theme and the village - it reflects how ancient the Sheikah tribe is.

This song is just amazing! I really love the new style for the village!

Very relaxing

5 Divine Beast Vah Ruta (All Terminals Active)

This song just screams "PLEASE GOD AVENGE MIPHA PLEASE GOD! "

6 Revali

His theme just sounds so... cocky, yet sad and mournful at the same time. It's hard to place a finger on.

OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH... It'a just amazing and beautifully written and played.

7 Mipha

Mipha is the most interesting character in this game to me.
Her relationship with Link is the deepest. She became a champion for protect Link and spend time with him.. her backstory was by far the most developped of the champions. Mipha actually has more impact on the game than any other character too. The entire Zora's village remembers Link. Mipha's impact as a dead character is still bigger than Sidon's work as a prince. Sidon have this popularity based on two or three lines and his sympathy but Mipha's impact comes from a way way more special feeling: love.
Mipha is underrated and to me she's the greatest Zora to ever be developped on this franchise in this day.

This song really makes you think, "how did I get here? Playing video games in a dark room? " It makes you thing of all the bad things in you life that happened to you, along with the good. That's why I love this song.

8 Hyrule Castle

How come this isn't top 1? This is probably the best soundtrack of Hyrule Castle in all of the Zelda games I've played... just... amazing. You can feel the march of spirits marching toward the castle trying to aid you so you can finish Ganon once and for all.

It's so EPIC! Best castle-infiltration music ever.

9 Daruk

Once again, this song sounds mournful and sad, yet proud and glad in the beginning.

Out of the four champions, he’s got the best theme. Mipha a close second.

10 Fighting Vah Ruta Song

This deserves some spot in the top 3. This song was just happy and pure. It made the attack on Vah Ruta even more exhilarating. I really felt like a hero when this music started playing.

The ruta Attack was one of my favorite moments in the whole game

I listen to this when working out. It just pumps me up

It's my favorite song hands down

The Contenders
11 Cave

This song just sounds so peaceful... I could fall asleep to this...

12 Kass

When I was doing “The Hero’s Cache” side quest, I had to sit there and wait listening to his theme until 5 PM.
And I never got tired of listening to it

Man, I love this theme!

13 Prince Sidon
14 Guardian Theme

The song itself is good, especially when combined with a giant, 6-legged robo-turret chasing you around. Also, remixes.

15 Tarrey Town Tarrey Town Cover Art

A mixture of the other settlement songs. Tarrey Town is leading the way in diversity and the song reflects this. The songs comes alive as you send people from different areas over.

Such a cool theme and I like how it changes when you build the town.

16 Molduga Theme

Most epic soundtrack in the game

I fight moldugas just to here that music

17 Dark Beast Ganon Theme (Phase 2)

This song is so good! Great song to end up the boss battles. The feeling of the different combined songs from throughout the game just wraps up the game nicely. Ya, there is the added cutscene/s at the end, but this really is the one that leaves the last impression of the game on me. It really is one of the best in the game!

18 Dragon Theme

The first time I saw a dragon in this game, my socks were completely blown off. At first I thought it was an enemy about to attack me, but instead it just passed me and this beautiful violin music started playing and a bunch of wind appeared. Instead of fighting it, I just took out my paraglider flew around with it! It was exhilarating!

Perfectly represents the three dragons, Naydra, Dinraal and Farosh. I remember when I first saw Farosh in the distance when I first left the Great Plateau. I went over in that direction but got distracted by something.

Adds to the experience of seeing farosh/dinraal/naydra for the first time. sounds exactly how id picture the theme of a massive, nearly harmless dragon soaring overhead.

19 Attacking Vah Medoh

Another of my favourites.

20 Sheikah Tower

This theme isn’t talked about much. But why? It’s absolutely incredible standing on top of a giant tower getting an extraordinary view of Hyrule while listening to this very soothing piano music.

21 Parasailing Minigame Theme

It's such a fun and upbeat song. I can't help but enjoy it every time it comes on.

So happy and positive... it's a standout from the often minimalist (but gorgeous) soundtrack of BOTW.

22 Calamity Ganon Battle

I think this is one of the most epic soundtracks in the game, regardless of how much the fight sucked. It's slow first phase and faster second phase really make you feel like the fate of Hyrule is in your hands. The fact that this is a remix of the blight Ganon battles along with the horror-like fragments scattered throughout the soundtrack truly makes Calamity Ganon an intimidating foe.

This was another of my favourites.

23 Hateno Village

I just really enjoy how mellow this village's collection is

24 Korok Forest - Day

The Korok Forest music is upbeat and light, and it matches the forest, with its cheerful, eager Koroks and the heavy emphasis on the sun within the forest.

25 Riding Theme
