1 A show that was supposed to go against the mainstream became the mainstream
2 The show is overly preachy
Pretty much exactly. I mean, the Simpsons was always pretty leftist, but in the classic episodes like Sideshow Bob Roberts, it shows the redeeming qualities as well.
3 The Simpson family is no longer relatable
4 Lots of characters have become extremely Flanderized
5 The show's humor is now dumbed down and obvious
6 The show recycles and reuses plots
7 Retroactive continuity "retconning" and plots that contradict each other
Any childhood episodes or backstories just make the retconning worse. Not as bad as warrior cats though.
8 The status quo makes the show's plots more predictable
9 Lots of supporting characters have been mostly reduced to one-line cameos
10 The show is too reliant on celebrities
