Top Ten Best Things to Do on May the 4th
In honor of 'May the 4th be with you day', otherwise known as Star Wars day, here's a list of fun activities to do that day.Star Wars is awesome of course but honestly "May the 4th" is something of a lame pun. While we're at it though what is yours mine might be Revenge of the Sith.
Not sure if there is enough time in one day to watch the entire series, but it can't hurt to try! You could also use "Revenge of the 5th" for binging time if need be.
"Sir, there is a religious holiday today, I need to take the day off of work. Human Resources would not take kindly to you making me work on a religious holiday."
"Mhm."
"Well, it's less religious and more cultural. There is a cultural holiday tomorrow."
"Ok."
"Well, it's something of a pop-cultural holiday, and it's important to my family."
"Mhm."
"It's Star Wars day. Please let me take the day off of work."
"Do you know that you should take this job very seriously, and that days off are meant to be used sparingly."
"Yes sir."
"So why would you think that you had to talk about religious holidays to win me over? It's Star Wars Day for crying out loud! There's no work on Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you!"
Come on. You know you want to figure out who out of your friends would win. Of course, you might not want to get whacked with a lightsaber.
Unless your favorite character is Sheev Palpatine and you want to run around electrocuting people. Then go home and re-think your life.
Test and see how many true fans are out there!
Star Trek fans especially. (Note: I do not condone bullying, only fun, lighthearted jokes about not having a holiday.)
Who needs overpriced realistic lightsabers when you can make your own that do the same job just as well?
Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are my favorite writers so far, how about you?
Not that I ever condone seeking out trouble on the internet (especially involving the Star Wars fandom- it can get very toxic very fast), but if you have to pick a day to do it, what day better than Star Wars day?
