Many of the characters on here are top tier in some of the games. The fact we are saying meta knight is the 6th worst character in the series?! He was undoubtedly the best in brawl and high tier in smash 4. Don't listen to this page.
Every character has to have some strengths and some weaknesses. However, this particular character lacks strengths, but excels in weaknesses. He is a newborn, inferior clone of Pikachu. Dropped out of Melee, even worse, his electric attacks HURT himself!
Jigglypuff, known in Japan as Purin, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. I'm voting for this pink thing because I find it incredibly overrated. It's just a dumb Pokémon that can't accept that its singing puts people to sleep, and then childishly scribbles on their faces when they're asleep. Come on. That wasn't even funny the first time. And in Smash... well... it's neither particularly relevant nor particularly popular, but Smash fans keep regurgitating the lame "but it was in Smash 64, so it MUST be in every future Smash game! 111! " appeal to tradition. I'm tired of it taking up a roster slot that could have gone to a more deserving character.

Though I agree, I share great animosity towards the toadstool princess as well. I just wished that she could have a more respectable personality in her own games instead of almost always being the damsel in stress.
Princess Peach is beyond 100% awful. Her floating ability has always been useless & Princess Daisy would wear a ponytail much more times than Princess Peach. So would Rosalina & Knuckles the Echidna. And even Princess Zelda. And any of the Mario Bros. I am not kidding.
R.O.B. was a very horrible idea to begin with. His attacks are weak, especially his smash attacks. He also has easily the cheapest recovery in the entire game. Plus the Gyros aren't very good projectiles.
Whoever put this on the list really doesn't know anything about this game.

Dark Pit and Pit are overrated characters. For one, their recovery. It may seem good at first, but it's pretty easy to gimp. If he uses Side-B, use a projectile. They'll be helpless afterwards, and fall. Up-B is very predictable, so spike them or drop a projectile like Villager's bowling ball. Second is their reflector. This is argueably the worst reflector (designed to reflect, so no Ness F-Smash). It's slow, has a weakness from above, and can break. Their is more, but I won't touch on it. I don't think he's garbage like Zelda or Palutena, but low tier at best.
It's not how they're used, it's who they can be. And that was before the "premium" outfits that allowed Cuphead and Sans into the game.
The Mii is actually really good as a fighter. I played as the brawler/fighter/whatever, and the opponents were EZPZ for me to launch. Just set the right moves, and your good to go.
Being able to fully customize their move would have been nice. But instead, you have to choose between 3 classes, all outclassed by every other character's moveset.
Why did he take place over other characters. He already had his chance and nobody wanted him back. At least Dark Pit and Lucina were characters that were new to smash.
Dr. Mario throws pills, has the tornado, and uses a white cape instead of the red plumber's yellow one. His final smash is just a medicine-y version of Mario's. Lame as heck.
He's a waste of a character slot! Why did they have to bring him back to smash 4?! I'd rather have them bring back young link, wolf, or even pichu!
Ganon (Referred to as Ganondorf in human form) is a fictional character and the central antagonist of Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series. He is a power-hungry Gerudo who possesses the Triforce of Power and aims to conquer Hyrule with the remaining Triforce parts. Love him in melee. He is a joy to use and to absolutely wreck your opponents with. When you land that offstage warlock punch it just feels SO good. In brawl, though, he's just SO SLLOWWW! His moves are as fun as ever, but you just can't use them, as he can't even get there fast enough! Brawl Ganon feels like something is wrong with my controller. Still main him and Falco in melee. Also pocket main Pichu when I really need to prove my supremacy. Pichu's fsmash is still pretty good. Stop hatin'.
Ganondorf=Way better than Captain Falcon. If he can find your weakness, hell, he will toss you around and give no mercy. He wants to make you give up. He thinks smash bros is a joke to him. He dosen't think he's better than everyone, he thoroughly believes it. This man is the boss.
Olimar is a fictional character from Nintendo's Pikmin video game series created by Shigeru Miyamoto. I'm just sayinfg this now, Olimar has one of the worst recoveries in every game. If you get a jumping fighter final smash is nothing. The only thing he does is throw veggies at people.
Note to Sakurai: Please oh please take him off the roster for the next smash game and don't bring him back.

Olimar sucks in Brawl. They gave him a huge upgrade for Wii U.
Lucina is one of the main characters in Fire Emblem Awakening, as well as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Her most notable feature is her love for her father. Sakurai tried so hard to make this character seem important enough to be separate from Marth. Lucina is NOT. Even though Marth was significantly altered, he still has early kill options with forward smash with the tipper. However, because Lucina doesn't have a tipper, she is easily inferior to Marth in strength.
I may have left an opinion already but here are my top 6 reasons why lucina is NOT trash. (Inspired by nicobbq)

The Newcomers
Isabelle is a character from the "Animal Crossing" series. She first appeared in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf". In the game, she assists the player with their duties as mayor. As a dog, Isabelle is a friendly and helpful companion to the player throughout their mayoral journey. Isabelle is so ugly, I bet Nintendo was not convinced to put that brat into the game at first.
They should've just made her an echo fighter. This character in the game.

Clearly this list is based off personal preference rather than tier lists and such. Meta Knight is actually broken as heck. While nerfed in smash 4, he is still high tier.
King Dedede is a fictional character and the primary antagonist of the Kirby series of video games owned by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. Really? This guy is one of my best mains in the game. He may have been a little more nerfed in SSB4 and not as good as SSBB, but I think I prefer his improved pros better in SSB4. He is one of the best heavyweight characters and actually has a good recovery if you use it wisely. Plus, it's easier to use that Jet Hammer now.
Wow. He is just so slow and weak. He SUCKS. He's almost unplayable. I can't believe they got everything wrong with this character. I mean, just wow.
Everything about this character is annoying. One of my least favorites to fight. Good thing he's not that strong, or I'd lose my mind.
I agree they are super cool! you pretty much have 2 lives! I don't know how to use them they are not my characters either, I just think that having double the lives is really cool!

I suck at ice climbers. All my friends do to. Even so, I'm suprized it is on this list. I only have one friend who plays as ice climbers, and he is actually really hard to beat.
Princess Zelda is a fictional character in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda video game series, created by Shigeru Miyamoto and introduced in its original entry in 1986. I feel like Zelda should be a lot faster, because if she was, that would easily make her top tier. Her attacks when timed right, deal a lot of damage and her ability to teleport gives you an advantage especially in the older games when Zelda and Sheik were one character.
Her attacks are SO slow. In Brawl, Din's Fire was a pretty good projectile attack. However, now that they nerfed it, they have taken Zelda to a newer low.
Literally bottom tier 3 games running now. Then we have Fox who has been high/top tier 4 games running. Absolutely rigged.
It makes me laugh when these people say this character sucks because they get beat up by it. Wii Fit Trainer is amazingly balanced and in my opinion a high tier character. Get good, don't say a character sucks just cause you do and you can't beat it.

Because luma wanted to fight and Rosalina couldn't break his little heart. Luma never got to have this chance and it's a rare opportunity for it. Plus she fights together with it unlike Bowser and Bowser Jr. Bowser is okay with beating up his own son! That's child abuse and Rosalina would never do that.And Rosalina gives luma credit. Peach doesn't give Toad any or Olimar doesn't give any to Pikmin. And lets not forget her voice. It's the best voice. And she's the most attractive. And the mist unique. She's what I call a hard to use character. Only when you use her a lot do you know that she is strong and has good combos.

Sheik is actually really good. Tricky at first but when you learn to use her then it can do great.

Bayonetta herself isn't bad. It's her inclusion that makes her the worst. The stuff Bayonetta does is stuff you CAN'T get away with in E10-rated games! AT ALL! I'm actually surprised Nintendo hasn't been sued for violating ESRB rules yet!

Mostly because I think the only reason he survived the light rays in Ultimate is because Nintendo made that so people would start with the WEAKEST CHARACTER and make it so the player would get stronger characters in the process. Take that, Kirby mains! Besides, the Kirby series is one that you like the villain, King Dedede, better than the hero.
Kirby is by far the most overrated character in Smash. His slow speed, weak attacks and lousy recovery make him a lot worse than other characters.

Ness is really good if you know how to use him. You need to practice. And also Ness has some of the most powerful moves in the game. PK Flash and PK Thunder when you hit Ness. Sure he has some flaws but he shouldn't be 19. Only big flaw I can think of is that PK Flash and PK Thunder are hard to land. Ness has quite a good final smash in both brawl and 3ds/WiiU (the 3ds/WiiU is better that the old one though). So I do disagree with this list.
Ness is actually pretty good, but the problem with him is that his up special doesn't last a very long time and gets you stressed with its speed, making it so that when you want to go up, you move to the side. That's really one of the only bad things I can think of about him.
He is the reason we have the most retarded fighter in smash besides ganondorf... Charizard...

I'm honestly surprised that he isn't higher on the list. I feel like his neutral attacks are awful. In my opinion, his only decent attack is with the lloyd.
To be honest, Roy is one of the best sword wielders in the game. It's easier to rack up damage with the blade of his sword than Marth's tipper. May not have a great recovery, but it does trap and damage opponents. Also, he benefits a lot from the new rage mechanic and is easier to use to trap opponents in his Dancing Blade move.
Roy is amazing! People who say Roy is a clone is because they don't realize how different he is from Marth. His Blazer and Double-Edge Blade may be similar, but, he's very different. His Flare Blade can kill in one blow, and, his side-smash is incredible! Why all the hate on him?

He's weak, somewhat slow, his attacks have the smallest hitboxes, and all his special attacks suck. No offense, but if your gonna add a turtle not from Mario, it has to be Blastoise. No exception.
Makes me feel bad for blastoise seeing that spamming surf and hydro cannon beats everything in Pokemon, but in SMASH BROS he can't hold is own and you need Charzaird to actually DO STUFF and how Nintendo empathizes Charziaid and Pikachu WAY too much. I want Blastiiose damn it!
