Most Underrated NFL Players of 2017
These guys definitely caught my eye in terms of what they did in 2017.I gotta say for a team that had pretty much a ton of nothing in almost every position they found a rare gem here Robby Anderson is playing out of his mind, and you could also put Josh McCown in this category as well, but I'm more impressed how much they got out of Anderson more than anything.
Yeah not Logan Ryan, were looking more in the secondary department perhaps the deeper picture is the Titans Safety Byard who is all alone for now with 6 Interceptions. 3 of those coming in one game against the horrid Browns. Point is the guy made a name for himself this year, and deserves some respect for a defense that at times looks suspect.
Yes I got two chargers on the list, and to me there biggest free agent pickup in Tre Boston whom was with Carolina for a number of years comes here, and balls out in the secondary, needless to say L.A's B team has an improved defense up front, and in the back.
Coming for the old rusty Clay Matthews, Blake Martinez has been the tackling machine for Green Bay. He has indeed proven to be a helping hand for such a depleted, and mediocre defense he is put in.
Who doesn't wanna route for a guy that never let's his team say its over when its over that my friends is Phillip Rivers, over the years the guy has shown even with a bad group a guys he can still show you his not done yet, and his got a lot left in him.
Ryan Kerrigan has been with Washington for awhile, and to be honest he has quietly become one of the premiere linebackers in the game today. In a lot of ways he reminds me of London Flecther, and what he could do to be that reckoning anchor of the defensive unit that is right now.
Wow is Alvin Kamara unstoppable or what wow a 3rd round pick turns into a steal sensation alongside Mark Ingram the two dominate the running attack for New Orleans, and one of the keys for the Saints success. Despite losing last week against rams, Kamara did not quit he kept his team in the game what a soldier on the battlefield.
I gotta say for a #3 Wide Receiver, and what looked like a failed Chip Kelly product really turned himself around in year 3. I'm still not a Agholor fan by any means, but he really stunned me how much Wentz was able to get nice solid plays outta him then with Torrey Smith who hasn't done very little for the 2nd year QB as a weapon.
Have you ever heard of Ngakoue of Jacksonville? Well he did just as much as Calais Campbell in terms of bringing the pressure to opposing offensive lines making it tough for any Quarterback to get out of the pocket for any completion. I mean this dude quietly has 10 sacks on the year, and 1.5 shy of his fellow teammate. Needless to say Jaguars have the most feared defensive line to cover in all of the NFL right now.
Chiefs had Santos start for the season, and he ended up injuring himself, and eventually bounced out for awhile, but shockingly came back as a Bears kicker, but nevertheless the MVP in terms of making the kicks count is Harrison Butker. Remember Kareem Hunt's only fumble in week 1, well once he got the start in week 4 in which he was able to get the game winning kick to move onto 4-0. While he missed his first he made every single kick attempt, and hasn't missed since.
